We will walk through the University park and you will get an insight not only in the history of the university but also an insight to the ancient Runic stones in the area
Uppsala Cathedral
No visit to Uppsala is complete without a visit the the majestci cathedral. Here you will hear about famount Swedes such as Saint Birgitta, Carl Linneus, Dag hammarskiold and a number of the Swedish kings
Gustavianum
This is the university collection of artifacts, major science history, art by some of the most famous Swedish artists and the Augsburg cabinet.
Carolina Rediviva
Carolina Rediviva is the University Library that holds a collection of rare books and manuscripts. We will see the Silver Bible, hand colored in the 5th century, music sheet by the hand of Mozart and various items connected to Carl Linneus.
Linneus Museum and Garden
Carl Linnéus, the father of botanics that gave the world the modern classification of species is one of the most known scientists in the world. We will visit the garden and take a peak into his how, today a museum.
Old Uppsala
Here we admire the ancient burial mounds, the museum and the medieval church

Welcome to the province of DALARNA and the city of FALUN - my hometown as well!
Let me open up the doors to my country, the culture and the history on our walks. My roots are in the country side, the province of Dalarna, where I am a qualified tourist guide. This is where one of the symbols of Sweden is made, the Dalahorse. Falun is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE, let me take you around in the area, to the painter Carl Larsson's home and museum, to the village of Sundborn and to the city of Falun. This is where the red paint used on som many houses in Sweden comes from and where art, fairy tales, industry and nature blends into one.
Or if in Stockholm, why not join me to Skansen Park in Stockholm and hear about old and new traditions from Dalarna and other parts. I am a qualified tourist guide in Stockholm as well.
Welcome to the university town of UPPSALA - where vikings, scholars and Kings meet.
The old ancient history at Old Uppsala will come to live at the museum, we will admire the runestones, visit the cathedral as well as the university library. A day full of history!
