We start at Bern’s Main Train Station, one of the busiest in Switzerland and a key gateway to the capital.
• Brief introduction to Bern.
• Just across the square stands the Holy Spirit Church, built in 1729 in Baroque
Federal Parliament Building (Bundeshaus)
The Bundeshaus, completed in 1902, is home to the Swiss Parliament and the Federal Council.
• The square in front, Bundesplatz, often hosts markets, open-air concerts, and light shows.
Walk up to the Bundeshaus terrace for a stunning panoramic view of the Aare River and the Bernese Alps.
Take pictures of the Parliament façade and the view from the terrace.
Zytglogge (Clock Tower)
Bern’s most famous landmark! The Zytglogge (Clock Tower) dates back to the early 13th century.
