Arusha National Park was Ngurudoto Crater Highland National Park until 1967. The current national park covers an area of 137 sq km/53 sq mi, and is located near the town of Arusha between Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. The park and town derive their name from the Wa-Arusha people who traditionally live in this area.

Moshi to Arusha National Park
We will pick you at your hotel in Arusha (or Moshi) and drive towards Arusha National Park Gate well known Mommella ready for the game drive , Will take about 1 hours drive.
Arusha National Park Game drive
This morning drive to Arusha National Park for game viewing. The park is dominated by Mount Meru, Africa’s fifth highest mountain, 4,565m. There is a good range of animal species represented; you can expect to see hippos, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, water bucks, although more interesting sightings such as reed bucks, leopards and hyenas are much more occasional. They are also quite alkaline and therefore provide a year-round breeding area for flamingoes.
We will enjoy the picnic lunch and enjoy the final game drive en route drive back to Moshi / Arusha

CLIMB MOUNT KILIMANJARO MARANGU ROUTE 6 DAYS
Marangu route which is also known as the coca cola route is the least expensive route to the summit. This is also the only route with the comforts of sleeping huts at every camp site with solar lights and comfortable beds. The huts are communal, and the bunks have a sponge mattress and pillow. There are 60 beds at both Mandara and Kibo Huts and 120 beds at Horombo Hut. Bathrooms and running water are available at the two lower huts.

This is a day trip to the Kikuletwa hotsprings (or Chemka hot springs). The Kikuletwa Hotsprings (also named Chemka or Rundugai Hot springs) is one of the most beautiful and refreshing places in Tanzania. Here you can swim in crystal clear, turquoise, warm water. It’s small oasis in the middle of absolutely nowhere, literally! Simply an amazing experience that’s definitely worth the visit when you’re in Tanzania. From Moshi, the trip will take about 2 hours.

The Shira Plateau area of Kilimanjaro offers a fantastic opportunity to get high on a big mountain and to hike around this impressive World Heritage Site as a day trip – it’s a fantastic area and there are some great day hikes – either a more strenuous day hiking up along the ancient rim of the plateau or something more relaxed sticking to the undulating floor – perhaps going as far as the photogenic ‘cone place’ or Shira Needles’ at the Southern end of the plateau.

On this trip, you will hike on the Marangu Route with one night at Mandara Hut and towards Horombo Hut before returning to Mandara for lunch and then hiking back. You will NOT reach the summit. All short treks are offered on a private basis, and you can start on any day of the year. The short treks are geared for people who like to hike but reaching the summit isn’t a “must do”, and allow one to experience the excitement of hiking on the highest peak on the African continent.

OLDONYO LENGAI 4 DAYS TREKKING
"Oldoinyo Le Ngai" is a Maasai term meaning "Mountain of God". This mountain is the only active volcano in East Africa. Volcanic activity on the mountain has been observed from as far back as 1883, and it is still active today. The Oldoinyo Le Ngai mountain reaches a height of approximately 9442 feet. TARANGIRE DAY TRIP SAFARI
On this day trip we will visit Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is known for its many elephants and huge, ancient baobab trees. You’ll be sure to see quite a few, along with many other animals that live here. The day trip starts with an early morning departure from Arusha (or Moshi). From here we drive straight to Tarangire National Park, which will take about two hours.
