Meeting Point

At your hotel in MOROGORO

- Pick up from your hotel in Morogoro town early morning (around 6:00 AM). It is also possible that we pick you up from Mukuni area.

DAY 1: MOROGORO – NYERERE NATIONAL PARK – BOAT SAFARI

Drive to Nyerere National Park (approx. 6–7 hours from Morogoro, shorter from Mikumi side depending on route).

Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge/camp.

Afternoon Boat Safari – Rufiji River

Enjoy a scenic boat safari along the Rufiji River:

-Spot hippos and crocodiles up close

-See elephants drinking at the river

-Watch colorful birdlife

-Beautiful sunset over the water

Dinner and overnight at lodge/tented camp.

DAY 2: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN NYERERE

After early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch.

Wildlife you may see:

Lions

Leopards

Wild dogs (rare and special!)

Giraffes

Zebras

Buffaloes

Elephants

Large variety of birds

Nyerere is less crowded than northern parks, giving you a true wilderness experience.

Return to lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: WALKING SAFARI – RETURN TO MOROGORO

Early morning walking safari with professional ranger.

Walking Safari Highlights:

-Learn animal tracks and bush survival skills

-Understand plants and local ecosystem

-Experience nature on foot safely

-Close observation of smaller wildlife

After breakfast, start transfer back to Morogoro.

Drop off at your hotel in the afternoon.

PICK-UP & TRANSFER EXPLANATION

Option 1: Start from Morogoro

We pick you up from your hotel in Morogoro early morning and drive directly to Nyerere National Park.

Option 2: After Mikumi National Park

If you are finishing safari in Mikumi, we transfer you directly from Mikumi area to Nyerere without returning to Morogoro.

At the end of the tour, drop-off is in Morogoro (or can be arranged to another destination upon request)
