“Two very happy seniors”

We booked Tunahan for a daytrip from Galataport where our Viking cruise ship overnighted in Istanbul. He was wonderful and I wholeheartedly recommend him. He kept us informed through texts and we met him at the port terminal easily. We wanted to travel to Asia by public transportation and Tunahan was masterly in shepherding through various modes of transport: tram, ferry and subway. The efficient system got us to where we wanted to be with little time spent waiting. We visited the Asia neighborhoods of Uskudar and Kadikoy and felt we were a world away from the bustle of old town. We visited during the day and suspect these neighborhoods become quite a bit more animated later in the day. Tunahan adapted to our preferred leisurely pace, and we felt we got to see the best parts of both neighborhoods. I let Tunahan know we wanted a break about halfway through our 4-hour tour. The extremely resourceful Tunahan provided a superb recommendation as he has rated all the cafes and restaurants he has visited throughout his city. It was pleasant to sit in the coffeehouse and enjoy sweets and tea while chatting with Tunahan and people watching. Tunahan is an approachable, friendly, bright young man who speaks excellent English. He had an in-depth knowledge and shared the information without being drawn out on details unless you wanted them. Tunahan's wit and desire for us to enjoy the experience is what made this excursion perfect.

“We Love Rose! An Amazing Guide.”

Rose and a driver took our family of 5 around the major and less known sights for two days. Rose showed us not only all of the major sites on the standard route, but took us to hidden gems where we were among the only people. She knows the area, and gave us a deep appreciation for the history of the region. She took good care of us with lunches and snacks, and was very attentive to everyone's needs. She and her driver were delightful to spend time with. I can't imagine seeing the area without her. 100% delightful, Rose gets our most enthusiastic recommendation.
