Meeting Point
Your hotel in Cappadocia
- Please, wait at your hotel’s reception at the agreed time, so we can meet there and start our tour.
Esentepe Panorama
One of the best viewpoints near Goreme, from where you can admire the amazing cliffs of Cappadocia, including the highest of our volcanoes - Mount Erciyes.
Uchisar Fortress
This rock fortress is best admired from the foot of the mountain where we will walk and see up close the numerous dovecotes decorated with paintings and verses from the Koran. We will also look inside a cave house that has been preserved in its original form by several generations of the same family.
Kaymakli Underground City
A beautiful example of a Cappadocian underground cave system that was used by locals for food storage and shelter from the Hittite period until the 20th century. Entrance fee: 13€ per person
Keshlik Monastery
The most authentic of all the Cappadocian monastery complexes, it has a very calm and peaceful atmosphere. There are two rock-cut churches, decorated with frescoes from the 9th and 12th centuries, very different in style and therefore interesting for comparison. We can also see the hermitages, the refectory and a modest underground font. The entrance fee: 2€ per person.
Historic Greek settlement Mustafapasa
An important historical site, best suited as a backdrop to the story of the large Christian population that once lived in Cappadocia. The town is still famous for its magnificent architecture, which includes dozens of family mansions, the monastery of St. Nicholas, and the cathedral dedicated to St. Helena and St. Constantine. There is also a chance to have your lunch at restaurant situated within a 19th century Greek mansion (at an extra cost), where you can see the living rooms preserved in their original beauty.
Red Valley Panorama
The magnificent view of the monumental multi-colored volcanic tuff formations reminds us once again of the millions of years it took for Cappadocia to become one of the natural wonders of the world.
