This day trip takes you from Edinburgh to the gorgeous town of St Andrews, famous the world over for its golf course and university. On the way, we'll also stop for a walk around the village of Culross, notable for featuring in the Outlander television series, but also the prettiest village in Scotland in its own right. In St Andrews, I'll book you in for lunch in the golf club (depending on availability) and help you explore the Old Course, the university and the ruined castle and cathedral.

Hi, I'm Barney. I have 14 years of experience guiding guests around Scotland, taking day tours out of Edinburgh. Whether I take people on scenic tours, or to historical sites like castles, or whisky tasting, I'm reminded every day that I really do have the best job in the world, in my favourite country in the world, and I'd like to share that with you.
I was born in Edinburgh, and graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2008 with a history degree, so I know what I'm talking about when it comes to Scottish history. But I also consider myself a storyteller, and my main job is to entertain you, so please don't feel that you're going to get dry lectures on history and culture. You don't need to remember a single thing I tell you, so long as you enjoy yourself.
Also, please don't feel constrained by the standard tours I offer. I have many years of guiding experience, so if there's something you want to see that's not listed, just send me a message through Go With Guide and ask me to create a personalised itinerary just for you, which I'm always happy to do.
