“Absolutely perfect experience”

If you are looking for a guide in Hanoi, please consider Rose! I was so very happy with her guidance and believe she has the knowledge and ability to customize any tour and activity you could possibly want in the area. I will be recommending her to friends and family that visit Hanoi, and hope to hire her again if I return! I hired Nhung N. (English nickname Rose) for 2 days for a flexible tour of Hanoi including tailoring, food recommendations, and some local culture/history. I truly could not be more happy with my experience with her. She was patient and listened extremely well, both directly as well as picked up on things I may be interested in and recommended. She had a very positive, kind vibe to her that felt authentic. The first day she recruited a personal driver, brought us to Lang Van Phuc (silk village), explained extensive history, brought us to Obama Noodles and taught us about how to eat Bun Cha (pork noddles), brought us to Phu Tay Ho to see the temple, and lastly took us to the women’s museum, personally explaining the history, all while acting as a translator. She also challenged us to learn some words in Vietnamese! The second day was more focused on tailoring and fabrics, in which she was extremely patient with explaining our wants and needs. She then brought us to some shops we were interested in, and took us to eat some of the best food I’ve had at a restaurant locals love (and she personally goes to). Again, she was very patient with our constant and specific questions about local cultures, histories, and norms. She also worked to get us discounts without being asked, advised us on a culturally sensitive inquiry of an object taken by a US soldier, was comfortable speaking about her family and personal life/past, was flexible with last minute changes to plans, stayed in consistent contact before and during the planned tour dates, and responded quickly and reached out to get more info to further personalize the tours.

“Great day out in Ho Chi Minh City”

Our total experience with Kevin was fantastic. Communications ahead of our day trip was excellent, Kevin helped us locate luggage storage at the airport, he arrived ahead of time and was very flexible to suit our travel times. During the day his local knowledge was first class and his stories really helped us to understand the culture and background to the city he grew up in. We had a great experience and highly recommend Kevin as a tour guide for Ho Chi Minh City / Saigon.

“Great Tour Guide, highly recommend ”

Trinh contacted us well in advance of holiday and asked us our wish list. She personalised the tour to our needs (my wife is a wheelchair user). On day of tour she arrived early, with air conditioned private transport. She was so nice, a ray of sunshine, nothing was too much trouble.. she instantly bonded with my wife and daughter. During the tour she was very knowledgeable and explained everything with perfect English!! We had 2 very great relaxing days out… and it is clear this was due to so much preparation Trunk had done in the lead up to meeting us!!! The time with Trinh was unforgettable, memory that will last!!!! Tribes far beyond what would be expected of a guide!!! As the tour was finishing my daughter was unwell due to a few nasty mosquito bites. Instead of being us to hotel Trinh brought us to her local medical facility where she knew staff and had my daughter checked and we received medication. She Wes amazing and did all this through genuine concern, it’s her nature. We had such a good time, learnt a lot and had good fun during our time together. I would strongly recommend anyone visiting Hoi An or DaNang to contact Trinh in advance and book her if she has availability. The best bits for us were: Coconut boats ( my daughter loved this) Hoi An evening tour (interesting and great vibe) BANA Holls, fabulous scenery and great fun) Trinh offered very memorable experiences at a price that was unbelievable. Anyone considering a tour should contact her for sure
