Meeting Point
Balcarce 1016, San Telmo
Casa Castagnino
Our meeting spot is one of the oldest houses in Buenos Aires!
Here, we'll talk about what we are going to see and experience throughout the day
Parque Lezama
This is where the first foundation of Buenos Aires took place.
We'll talk about the origins of the city, the immigration wave of the 1900's, and the yellow fever outbrake.
La Bombonera
Boca Jr.s Stadium
We'll discuss the importance of football in Argentine politics, economics, culture...well, it's part of us.
Caminito
The most iconic site in Buenos Aires.
Caminito is known for it's colorful houses of corrugated metal, and it's incredible history. Among other things, Tango was born here!
Puerto Madero
The newest neighborhood of Buenos Aires, this site has an amazing story and gave birth to our very own Ecological Reserve
Ecological Reserve
This huge natural site was created by nature's will... with a bit of help from the locals.
We'll pedal to the river and enjoy a local custom.
Parrilla stop!
We'll enjoy a typical local sandwich called Bondiola, if you're up for it :)
Veggie and other options are available.
Puente de la Mujer
This bridge by Santiago Calatrava hides and incredible story, which is linked to the biggest economic crash in Argentine history.
Plaza San Martin
The neighborhood of Retiro is where the iconic English monument is located.
We'll talk about the relationship between Britain and Argentina, and share a local soap-opera with you.
Recoleta Cemetery
Here we'll expose Evita's origins and story along Juan Domingo Peron, and then set you free for 15 Argentine minutes, so that you can wonder around this historical site which is considered an open air gallery.
Plaza de Mayo
The heart of the city, and where most of the themes we've talked about converge.
This is the site of the 2nd (and finally succesful) foundation of the city, where San Martin's body is burried, where tons of bombs where dropped in order to kill one man, where the mother's of Plaza de Mayo protest looking for their missing children, where the president "works", and where Maradona's funeral took place.
