Discover Buenos Aires from an anthropological point of view! Who were the first inhabitants? Why were the British so interested in these shores? Where is the African-descendant population? Where did all these white people come from? What is the deal with Evita and Perón? Who were the "desaparecidos" during the military dictatorship? And why do we have such a big problem with the US dollar?

An invaluable Introduction to the history and culture of Buenos Aires and Argentina

Nico provided exactly what we required as first time visitors to Buenos Aires. He explained the history of Argentina by explaining the migration patterns over the past centuries, and the cultures that helped define Argentina as it is today. It is one thing to experience architecture and the cuisine, but with the detailed explanation of the rich cultural history of Argentina, we now have a more complete understanding of this beautiful city. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Buenos Aires, whether they are first time or repeat visitors.

A must do trip when in Buenos Aires - with Nicol?s!

Nicolás is a fantastic guide. We booked a private tour with him and it was a great experience. He is friendly, well-organised and professional. He has vast knowledge, insights and passion for his country’s past, present and future. He also has many entertaining fun facts to share! We enjoyed every minutes in this tour. It is a must for people that want a deeper understanding of the society, or just anything interesting about the city and Argentina. We highly recommend Nicolás. On top: Nicolas speaks excellent English, Spanish and Italian.
