“Modern Magic: The Skyscrapers and Beauty of Puerto Madero”
How does exploring the most expensive, modern & elegant neighborhood in BA sound? We’ll start at the Palacio Libertad, a staple of Beaux Arts stye & talk about the history and its lore (pretty good stories!) Then we'll walk to Puerto Madero; we'll be discussing its history and strolling along the beautiful riverside boulevards, with their restaurants & cafés; we'll cross Puente de La Muje, go inside the neighborhood, to look at the fabulous towers & walk by the Ecological Reserve park.

Buenos Aires for curious people
Discover Buenos Aires from an anthropological point of view! Who were the first inhabitants? Why were the British so interested in these shores? Where is the African-descendant population? Where did all these white people come from? What is the deal with Evita and Perón? Who were the "desaparecidos" during the military dictatorship? And why do we have such a big problem with the US dollar?
