Born and raised in Vancouver, I have spent my lifetime exploring British Columbia's beautiful outdoors. I have travelled the province extensively by bike, on foot and skis. I have been operating biking, hiking, snowshoeing and ski tours for several years now and can honestly say that the best part of the job is meeting and enjoying the company of my guests. I love sharing the beauty of my home with others, as I am so proud of where I live. I look forward to sharing magical experiences with you.

Johanne A.
I am an accredited Quebec tourist guide since 1997. I'm a Native of Quebec and a teacher by training. I have been working in the tourism industry for over 25 years. I worked for several years for the cruise industry. One of my main tasks was to develop unique tours offered primarily to cruise ship passengers but also to individual tourists and groups during their visit to our beautiful city, unique in North America. I offer a unique, personalized and bilingual (French/English) guide service on board (step-on guide) or on foot . I am dynamic, attentive and passionate about travel, history, architecture and culture. My first goal is to make sure that you will have an unique experience during your stay in Quebec City.

Bobby L.
Hello, my name is Bobby. I live in Vancouver. I love this beautiful city very much and am always very excited and eager to share the city with friends and visitors. Besides Vancouver, I also provide private guided tours to Victoria, Whistler, and the Canadian Rockies in Alberta. I enjoy travelling and have toured many countries. When visiting new places, I always look forward to experience the local lifestyle; savour the food; learn the culture, tradition, and history, to better understand the place I am visiting. I hit the highlights, the best places of interest the destination has to offer. Then I explore, meet the locals. Come, join me. Let's explore this beautiful city of Vancouver, the Pacific Northwest, and the Canadian Rockies. We'll have fun; explore and learn; and enjoy in style, comfort, and luxury. We'll visit the world renown ski resort of Whistler in the Squamish Lil'wat First Nations Territory, and Victoria, the Garden City on Vancouver Island. For the history buffs, wine lovers, and movie goers, we will visit the Fraser Valley and Fort Langley. To enjoy spectacular highlands, mountains, canyons, turquoise coloured lakes, and wildlife, we'll visit the the Canadian Rockies, and play golf too!

Jessica S.
I'm an Ottawa native with a talent for sharing facts and stories about the world around me. I love to explore and show off the best places to visit, and the best ways to see them. As a person with physical challenges, I recognize and respect the difficulty of seeing a place with physical limitations. With this in mind, I am always paying attention to accessibility and how it can be done with any and all abilities. I believe the world belongs to everyone, not just those with so-called ideal bodies.

I love to travel, and when I return, there's always a smile on my face because I have the privilege to call Vancouver my chosen home. I’m a proud Canadian and feel blessed to have the opportunity to share my love for this city with guests who have become friends. Tour guiding lights me up, and I'm a pro at walking tours. I thrive on connecting with people and sharing what it’s really like to live here while maximizing the incredible experiences anyone can have. I go the extra mile to make each guest feel seen, heard, and taken care of. I have hundreds of reviews from guests from all over the world that I have had the pleasure of hosting tours with. I have a broad background working with private and corporate groups, travel industry professionals, media, and influencers. My hospitality resume includes extensive experience as a Walking Food Tour Guide, Hotel Concierge, Step-on Tour Guide, and Itinerary Planner for event planners and the travel trade industry.

“Day tour of downtown Toronto ”
Varol met us promptly at 10 am at our hotel and returned us at 4 pm. He was always polite and friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the city - its history, facts, culture, politics and the geography of navigating through the city traffic. He is an excellent driver, maintaining good road focus while also talking about everything around us and answering our silly questions. We stopped several times to visit local sites. Once he guided us around to point out features, otherwise he described what we would see and waited with the car for our text that we were returning. I highly recommend Varol for this fun tour.

Canada Frequently Asked Questions
When is the best time to visit Canada?
Ultimately this depends on what exactly you’d like to do. Interested in skiing or snowboarding? Well then a winter (or even autumn) trip between November and February would be best. Prefer warmer temperatures? Well then a spring or summer trip sometime between April and August would be our recommendation.

What should I prepare for a trip to Canada?
As noted above, this depends on the season, but if you’re heading to Canada during the colder months it’s important to pack winter clothing. This includes a thick winter coat, gloves, scarf, and thick shoes or winter boots if you own a pair. The more water-proof your shoes are the better as you’ll be trudging through snow and ice quite a bit (and everyone hates wet socks).

Why are private tours better?
1. Stress-free transportation: Figuring out train or bus schedules in a foreign country can be an intimidating experience. A private guide can meet you at your hotel and accompany you all the way to your destination (whether by car or public transport).
2. Customization: Don’t feel like you’re being forced into certain experiences, with a private tour you can customize your itinerary completely.
3. Convenience: By hiring a private guide all the hassle of planning instantly falls by the wayside. Your guide will take care of everything, from where to go, how to get there, which tickets to buy, and more.
4. Safety: International tourists are unfortunately a favorite target of the unscrupulous, from something as simple to overcharging to holiday ruining pickpockets. Traveling alongside a local guide means they can help keep you safe and ensure you don’t get tricked by any tourist trap.
