How is the daily life on those campuses? Follow me, I'll show you around ; )
In Montreal, 8 universities are listed in 27 different university rankings (by the institution) as well as 3 different subject-specific rankings, these 8 universities are listed in at least one institution or subject-specific ranking. Among all the universities in Montreal, McGill University has the best reputation which is also the oldest one, founded in 1821. It has high rankings on many subjects, such as Engineering, Molecular Biology & Genetics, Linguistics, Communications & Media Studies, Philosophy, Library & Information Management, and so on. Before applying for any offers, it's better to take a look at its campuses in the reality, then we would figure out which one is the best one for us. But, as almost all the university campuses are in the open area, this might confuse you, it's hard to tell where the campus starts and ends! Well, no worries, you have me! I’ll show you around to embrace the academic atmosphere and explain to you the budget for daily life here. Some campuses might interest you: 1. McGill University; 2. The University of Quebec in Montreal; 3. Concord University; 4. University of Montreal; 5. HEC Montreal; 6. Polytechnic School of Montreal; ... Then, after years of study, you would probably be eligible for the Canadian Immigrant Programme, you can apply for it if you want, even you will have the chance to apply for citizenship! One stone, two birds, why not give it a try? *** During the pandemic for the moment, this is more like a virtual tour, I'll go walk on the spot, you follow my steps via our video chat (Zoom, Messenger, Skype...). During the pandemic, under all the restriction rules, the schedule of some places may differ from the information applied online, after receiving the booking, I’ll call them to check out, then adjust our schedule to avoid wasting your precise time.
During the whole visit on the spots (especially indoor), please follow the hygienic rules, wearing a mask, keeping 2 meters distance, etc.
Important message from the guide
* Working areas: Montreal. I can guide you to other cities too (Ottawa, Quebec City, Toronto, Niagara Waterfalls, Gaspésie, Percé, Halifax, New York ...) if you pay my transportation fee.
* Working time: On weekdays, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (Montreal time/GMT-4), on weekends from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm (Montreal time/GMT-4). Or if you would like to experience the vivid nightlife of the city (summer only), don't hesitate to contact me.
* Transportation: If you need a pick up from Montreal airport, the train station to your booking hotel, I can offer you a ride. (The charge depends on the distance and the number of passengers.)
* Accommodation: If you'd like to rent a short/ long stay house or an apartment, or just a room during your visit, let me know, I'm capable to help you out with a more satisfied and comfortable place than just a hotel room.
* Guide with Shooting/ Photograph: Price negotiable depending on certain conditions.
