“An excellent guide”

Michelle managed a 4 day tour for me. She is knowledgeable, a good conversationalist, and readily shares insights about Shenzhen, its development, history and culture. The full tour was very well planned and managed. She is extremely reliable, arrived early each day and nothing is too much trouble for her to amend or arrange. Her English is excellent. An excellent guide and a genuinely delightful person to tour with.

“Perfect Day in Shenzhen”

I genuinely cannot recommend Mei enough!! She was absolutely wonderful and made my time in Shenzhen so special. She was incredibly kind, flexible, and thoughtful about what I wanted to do, and made the entire experience feel less like a tour and more like spending the day exploring the city with a friend! She took me to an amazing jewelry market, as well as a really cool local market and community area that I never would have discovered on my own. I loved getting to experience a more local side of Shenzhen, and she made everything feel so easy, comfortable, and fun. One of my favorite things about traveling is getting to experience places beyond the typical tourist attractions, and Mei really made that possible. I had such a wonderful time with her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone visiting Shenzhen. Thank you so much, Mei!!

What you said about it feeling less like a tour and more like spending the day with a friend is exactly what I hope for every time. Every guest comes to Shenzhen with a different picture in their mind of what the city should feel like, and my job — and honestly my favorite part of this work — is figuring out what that picture is and trying to bring it to life. So hearing that I got it right for you means a great deal. And I have to say, the local market and those little neighborhood streets are some of my favorite places in the whole city. Getting to share them with someone who genuinely enjoys that side of travel was such a joy. Thank you for being so open, easygoing, and curious. You made the day easy and fun for me too.
