Ever think of hiking in the lush forests and breaktaking cliff? You will do it in just 2 hours away from the city. It is at 2,000m altitude.

Jinfoshan (Golden Buddha Mountain) offers a blend of oxygen-rich nature and breathtaking landscapes. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site extension to Wulong, this trek promises a harmonious blend of nature (azalae in Spring and pristine forests), wildlife (swallow, squirrel), and adventurous 10min cablecar climb and 40min cliffside walk.

- 1. Glenview Hotel lobby. Location: No. 66 Qingnian Road, Yuzhong District, Chongqing. I will text you the details one day before the tour. 2. Your hotel address (please tell me one day before), as long as it is in the city center. No additional costs incurred.

Jinfoshan West/North Gate

Depending on the operation of the attraction and weather of the tour day, we will drive to West or North gate.

Normally, we will head to West Gate which has the richest tourist experience. First we take the tourist transfer bus in a zigzag way climbing to 800m peak.

Second, we ride the cableway upward to 2000m in 15min.

Third, when we reach the top of mountain we will see tree-capped greenery, pristine forests, stunning mountain formations, hills, mist/clouds.

Most impressively, we walk through a 2km long cliffside plankroad to feel heartrace in a pristine nature.

Whole trip takes Total around 2 hours

There will be intense stairs and steps.

Tour Important Information

-This tour involves a lot of walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

-In July-Aug, it is 10-12 degrees cooler than the city, but wear suncream/sunglasses. In winter, it may be around 3-5 degrees, or snowy on the mountain.

-This tour is not recommended for those with severe back/knee problems.

-It is not accessible by wheelchair/stroller users.

-There are limited food options in the attraction. Advised to bring your own snacks and water.

Important message from the supplier

For budget reasons, it is advised to move around by public transport or taxi which are quite cheap in China.

Standard tour lasts around 6 hours with 5 places to visit. If you need to extend tour, overtime applies.

Be mindful of huge crowds during the public holidays such as Chinese New Year and National Day *Check calendar and public holidays before you book it. I normally suggest not to travel during this period.
