Meeting Point
Exit 15 of Metro Line Station ‘Jingan temple’
- The meeting point is on Huashan Road, which is close to the Apple store 'Apple Jingan'. If you take the taxi to meeting point, you can search 'exit 15 of the metro line station Jingan temple'. If you take metro line, you can take either Line 2, Line 7 and Line 14 to the Jingan temple station. Then follow the instruction to exit 15.
Jingan Temple
Jingan temple is one of the Shanghai landmarks and most famous Buddhism temple. The golden-roofed temple is located in the bustling downtown. We will see giant white jade Buddha statue and silver Buddha statue in Jingan temple.
Zhang Yuan
Shikumen architecture is a unique Shanghai-style building form. About 80 years ago, 60% local people lived in Shikumen housing. Now there are still some Shikumen residence. Some other Shikumen are renovated into fancy commercial area like Zhang yuan. It preserves the distinctive Shikumen architecture and bring in luxury flagship stores, premium cafes and cultural venues. It is a popular spot where locals spend their weekends.
Lunch at authentic Shanghai Dim Sum restaurant
Have a light lunch. Try local dim sums like Xiaolongbao.
People's Square
People's Squre is Shanghai's central hub. We will visit some iconic historic buildings including Shanghai History Museum and Park Hotel. Also we will go to residential area and marriage market of the locals.
Chenghuang Temple/City God Temple
A famous Taoist temple and cultural landmark. Built in the Ming Dynasty, the temple enshrines the City God who protects the local people.
Yuyuan Bazzar
A lively commercial area with Ming-Qing style architecture. Yuyuan bazzar boasts numerous time-honored brands, local snacks, gold jewelry stores, souvenir shops.

• Public transportation fees (metro line tickets 3 RMB/person from Jingan temple to Zhang Yuan)
• Taxi fare (around 20-30 RMB from People’s Square to City God temple)
• Entrance ticket (50 RMB/person for Jingan temple, 10 RMB/person for City God temple)
• Lunch (50-100 RMB/person)
