He called the entire Andean valley of Ecuador, with more than 300 km. A long the way up (and about 50 km wide), This is beginning from the North in the province of Imbabura, then to southern Ecuador in Riobamba city were the elevations is beeg with Chimborazo peak the high point in Ecuador are more representative of the country.

Drive along the Avenue of the Volcanoes

We drive on the middle of the Avenue until we turn to East were we go into the Cotopaxi National park

Limpiopomgo Area at 3838 M

We can pass at the Limpiopomgo Area at 3838 M. Continue driving up until we reach the car park situated at 4.550m.

Hike up to the José Rivas hut at 4830m

We beginning to hike up to the José Rivas hut at 4830m.

Arrive at the refuge

Take a short rest inside the hut and enjoy hot tea or hot chocolate. Afterward, prepare to hike down.
