It provided them with the knowledge and know-how to transition from step-sided pyramids to smooth-sided pyramids. Ultimately their breadth of experience would allow them to build the Great Pyramid of Giza; the last of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing to this date
Saqqara pyramids
Saqqara, the sweeping necropolis and pyramid field of Memphis, the first Capital of Egypt, has been an important historical site for 5,000 years of Egyptian history. This large area about 20 miles south of Cairo features the small square tombs (mastabas) of the kings of the first and second dynasties Most famously, the first king of the third dynasty, Djoser, asked his vizier and chief architect to erect for him the first monument built entirely of stone in ancient Egypt. The result is the famous step pyramid of Saqqara and its surrounding funerary complex, which was enclosed by a huge wall, probably emulating that which surrounded Memphis itself.

Today we will try several kinds of food. Koshari which is one of the main dishes in Egypt contains rice, pasta, onion, lentil and tomato sauce. Egyptian falafel which is the most delicious food you will have. Fava beans and eggplant are yummy. Besara is one of local dishes we will try Egyptian desserts like konafa and Basbosa. Also we will try Egyptian Molokhia which is the green soup and Egyptian meat Turkish coffee is a must after all theses kinds of food.
Islamic monuments tour
Today we will discover the hidden beauty of Islamic monuments. We will visit Citadel of Saladin including the mosque of Mohamed Ali then we stop to have brunch (Egyptian falafel, eggplant,....etc.) and Turkish coffee in Khan AL khalily area then we will visit Al Moaez street including several mosques dates between 13 to 16 centuries.
