We had a great tour with Rania. She picked us up at our hotel right on time, accompanied by a comfortable car and a professional driver. We thoroughly enjoyed learning from her profound knowledge of ancient Egyptian history. It quickly became clear that Rania has studied Egyptology and has been working as a guide for many years. Having a personal guide definitely beats all the budget tours that may seem cheaper but tend to shuttle you from one souvenir shop to another until you start eyeing the exit signs like hidden treasures. With Rania, we actually got to decide what to see and where to go next—no papyrus sales pitch required.
