Meeting Point
At your hotel
- Hotel Lobby or Nile Cruise Reception, Luxor Meet your Egyptologist guide and driver at the lobby of your hotel or at your Nile cruise reception. Look for our representative holding the company sign with your name. After quick booking confirmation, you’ll board a private, air-conditioned vehicle to cross to the West Bank and begin your day of exploration.
Colossi of Memnon
Stop briefly at the twin statues of Amenhotep III. Hear the legends and take photographs beside these 18-meter guardians.
Valley of the Kings
Descend into the desert necropolis to visit several royal tombs. Your Egyptologist will explain the funerary texts, wall paintings, and significance of each tomb. (Optional: entry to Tutankhamun’s tomb at extra cost.)
Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari)
Explore the terraced mortuary temple of Hatshepsut and learn about her reign, monumental architecture, and the temple’s reliefs.
Valley of the Queens
Visit this peaceful necropolis and learn about royal funerary practices. (Optional: Tomb of Nefertari is available at extra cost and subject to ticket availability / prior reservation.)
Medinet Habu

Midday Break/Lunch Break
Stop at a local restaurant on the West Bank or East Bank (lunch not included). Time to rest, purchase a meal, and prepare for the afternoon.
Afternoon – East Bank Exploration/Karnak Temple Complex
Cross to the East Bank and tour Karnak: the Great Hypostyle Hall, Sacred Lake, obelisks and chapels. Your guide will show you major inscriptions and architectural phases.
Luxor Temple
Conclude the monument visits at Luxor Temple in the city center. Learn about the Opet Festival and admire the evening light as the temple begins to glow.
Return to Hotel
Drive back to your accommodation for drop-off. End of service with plenty of time for evening plans.
