Day 1 Addis Abeba Fly Lalibela.

11:00 AM: Take an early morning flight from Addis Ababa to Lalibela (approximately 1 hour). Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in.

1:30 PM: Begin with a brief overview of Lalibela's history, then explore the Northern Group of Churches:

Biete Medhane Alem (House of the Saviour of the World): The largest monolithic church in the world.

Biete Maryam (House of Mary): Known for its intricate carvings and frescoes.

Biete Golgotha Mikael (House of Golgotha and Mikael): Houses King Lalibela’s tomb and significant spiritual relics.

Biete Giyorgis (House of St. George): The iconic cross-shaped church and a highlight of Lalibela's architecture.

5:30 PM: Drive to Ben Abeba Restaurant for dinner. The restaurant, perched on a hilltop, offers unique architecture and stunning panoramic views of the valleys and mountains surrounding Lalibela.

6:50 PM: Transfer back to your hotel for overnight at Lal Hotel.

6:30 AM: Visit the iconic Western and Eastern Groups of Churches in Lalibela:

Biete Amanuel (House of Emmanuel): Believed to have served as the royal chapel.

Biete Abba Libanos (House of Abba Libanos): A semi-monolithic church associated with King Lalibela’s wife.

8:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast and prepare for your journey to the airport.

11:30 AM: Board your flight to Addis Ababa. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in the city.
