National museum

The National Museum of Ethiopia is one of the most important museums in Addis Ababa. It is a home to Lucy our 3.2-million-year-old ancient ancestor. The museum has a rich collection of fossils, stone tools, and some of the oldest human exhibits in the world. You can also see beautiful artifacts from Ethiopian emperors and churches, traditional costumes, Emperor Haile Selassie’s throne, and century-old golden crowns. It is a fascinating place to learn about Ethiopia’s deep history and cultural heritage.”

Merkato is the largest open-air market in Africa. During the visit, we will explore a wide variety of products—from fresh vegetables and spices to coffee beans and hand-woven baskets. You can also discover recycled products, traditional crafts, and much more, experiencing the vibrant life and culture of Addis Ababa.”

Traditional Ethiopian Lunch and coffee

The final activity of the day Will be a lunch at Addis Ababa restaurants, known for its tasty local dishes and honey wine (tej). You can also enjoy a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony, making it a relaxing and cultural dining experience.
