The Rift valley circuit & coffee tours
This route incorpirates history, church, archeology and nature. Both located with in the Ethiopian rift valley region which is a part of the great east African rift system. It extends from Syria in the North and Mozambique in the south. With in this geographical territory Lucy, an oldest hominid fossil and other human ancestors were discovered, besides the Danakil depression, Ertale, those ethinic groups in Omo valley are all the part of this region.

Day 1- Arrive Addis Abeba
Be met your guide and the mini van at Bole int'l airport then transfer to hotel.
Balance of the day take a city tour and visit:- Marcato; the largest open air market in Africa (Monday- Saturday), and St.George Church.

Langano
Day 2- Addis Abeba- Langano
Drive to Langano, resort on the rift valley lake. On the way visit the rock hewn church of Adadimariam and Tiya cemetery field. Lunch in Butajra town, then head to Lake Ziway for aquatic bird life. Late in the afternoon arrive in Langano.

Awassa
Day 3- Langano-Awassa
Take breakfast then drive to Abijata-Shalla lakes NP where you could see gazzels and other aquatic birds including flamingos. After lunch in Shashemene town continue to Awassa and late in the afternoon have boat ride on Lake Awassa to see hippos and other water birds.

Yirgalem
Day 4- Awassa-Yirgalem
Check out hotel and go to Awassa fish market to see people eating and shopping fishes of the day catches at the shore of the lake. More drive to Wondo Genet for bathing at puplic hot spring and wild coffee plantation tour. After lunch head to Yirgalem town known for one of the best coffee brabds in Ethiopia.

Day 5- Yirgale
Spend the whole day in Yirgalem doing several activities like, in the morning visit coffee plantation and afternoon attend in one of the local villages where you shall be invited coffee ceremony at a private house. O/n hotel
Bale Goba
Day 6-Yirgalem-Bale mountains NP/Goba
Take breakfast then proceeded to Dinsho where the HQ of Bale mountains NP is located. Afternoon game walking in the park and see
the endemic mountain Nyala, Menilk's Bush back, Gray dikker and so on. Proceed to the small town of Goba for 2 night. O/n hotel (bas

Day 7- Bale Goba-Sanate-Bale Goba
After breakfsst, drive to Sanate plateau, a plateau, formed by successive lava outpourings dated back to tens of millions of years ago. It spreads thousands of square kilometers with much of its altitudes towering more than 3,000masl, and is the most extensive high-altitude feature in Africa. The higest part of the plateau is manily characterized by afro-alpine vegetation which is home to the endemic Ethiopian Wolf, Jaint mole rat and aquatic birds. Hike to Tulu Dimtu (4377masl), the second higest peak in Ethiopia. O/n hotel.
Awash National park
Day 8- Bale Goba-Awash NP
Today we leave Bale national park early in the morning and head to Awash NP through the Ethiopian rift valley region with lunch stop in the city of Nazareth.

Day 9- Awash
The whole day in Awash with day trip to the northern section of the park to see natural hot spring, birds of different species, Hamadryas Baboons and more. Thenv in the afternoon, game drive and walking in to the park and see the tiny Salt's Dik-Dik, the Grivet Monkey, the Lesser Kudu, Soemmerring's Gazelle, Spotted-necked Otter and Awash river falls. Addis Ababa
Day 10-Awash-Addis Abeba
Take breakfast, do more activities in the park then drive to Addis Ababa with lunch stop in one of the towns on the way. On arrival in Addis Ababa, go for shopping. Then after farewell dinner at traditional restaurant, transfer to airport for departure home.

Important message from the supplier
As I am working in the travel business, I work from Monday- Sunday. But in the month of May 2023, I am not available in Addis Ababa for I fly to Gondar. In case if your are coming there by that month, I can arrange you all the necessary things for the city tour of Gondar and trekking or day trip to the Simen mountains NP.
