Wander one of Paris’ neighborhoods and discover the classics of French cuisine. Accompanied by an expert local guide (and foodie), you’ll stop at a variety of shops and restaurants to explore local culinary traditions. Over the course of the experience, both savory and sweet tastings will show you the richness of French gastronomy along with the even richer history behind it all. Opt for a pre-set route exploring one of the cities historic food streets or create a fully custom experience.

Meeting Point

Place de la Contrescarpe OR Sentier Metro Station OR Moulin Rouge

- Your meeting point may vary based on which tour option you choose. You'll receive a confirmation with your meeting point address and closest metro stations ahead of time. When you arrive, you will find your guide holding a blue flag.

Apéro

The first tasting stop of your tour will include a selection of traditional cheeses, charcuteries, and often (depending on chosen route) wine pairing.

Main Meal

Sit down at an emblematic restaurant to enjoy your main course in a deeply historic atmosphere. Choose a traditional dish, such as duck or fish, and pair the dish with a premium wine as recommended by your guide and/or the waitstaff.

Historic & Cultural Walk

Walk off your first two courses and make room for dessert on a cultural exploration of one of Paris' emblematic neighborhoods. Your guide will show you a selection of historic monuments, artistic corners, and more.

Dessert

Stop at a local bakery or sweets shop to try a selection of traditional desserts. From regional classics to royal favorites, everything is made fresh by local artisans.

About Tour Guide Adrien M.

A lifelong francophile, I pursued an extensive education in French heritage studies. Now a graduate of Sorbonne University and Middlebury College, I continue to follow classes and conferences at a number of institutions in order to continue learning and consistently improve my tours.

Based in Paris since 2022, I am dedicated to sharing the beauty and fascinating history of the city I call home. Following numerous collaborations with tour companies, I’ve chosen to branch out independently in order to provide better experiences for my guests. A resident of the neighborhood, I specialise in Latin Quarter experiences.

When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling (17 countries and counting!) collecting books, going to the cinema, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my cat, Snufkin.
