“A Wonderful Time Discovering my Hungarian Ancestors!”

My goal in visiting Hungary was to conduct ancestry research, and I was fortunate to have chosen Gabor as my guide. I was able to correspond with him easily through the GoWithGuide website, and he responded to my messages almost immediately. Ancestry research is time-consuming, and Gabor undertook considerable preparation before I arrived in Hungary, exceeding my expectations. He took the initiative to contact various archive offices in advance, arranging meetings and access to archival documents on my behalf. It quickly became clear that Gabor is far more than a guide; he is also an excellent project manager! During my time in Hungary, he organised a well-planned yet flexible itinerary that included archive offices, museums, and registry offices. When meeting with archivists in the towns of Komárom and Tatabánya, where my ancestors had lived, I relied on Gabor to explain my situation in Hungarian and translate their replies. Gabor is professional, hardworking, and absolutely dedicated to helping his clients achieve their goals. He consistently went above and beyond to help me locate records relating to my ancestors. Thanks to his efforts, I now have a much more complete picture of my family tree than I ever expected to achieve. Gabor was genuinely interested in obtaining the best possible outcome for me and creating a truly memorable experience—one that I will never forget. His in-depth knowledge of Hungarian history gave me a deeper appreciation of Hungary and its people. I highly recommend Gabor to anyone considering ancestry or family-history research in Hungary. His expertise, dedication, and professionalism made my trip both productive and rewarding.
