“Trip to Eger”
Gabor was an amazing person who's guided us with a lot of care and passion. It was absolutely the best one-day trip we have ever had. As it was an extremely hot day, he adjusted the day's activities to meet our needs. We highly recommend planning a day with Gabor.

“A Wonderful Time Discovering my Hungarian Ancestors!”
My goal in visiting Hungary was to conduct ancestry research, and I was fortunate to have chosen Gabor as my guide. I was able to correspond with him easily through the GoWithGuide website, and he responded to my messages almost immediately. Ancestry research is time-consuming, and Gabor undertook considerable preparation before I arrived in Hungary, exceeding my expectations. He took the initiative to contact various archive offices in advance, arranging meetings and access to archival documents on my behalf. It quickly became clear that Gabor is far more than a guide; he is also an excellent project manager! During my time in Hungary, he organised a well-planned yet flexible itinerary that included archive offices, museums, and registry offices. When meeting with archivists in the towns of Komárom and Tatabánya, where my ancestors had lived, I relied on Gabor to explain my situation in Hungarian and translate their replies. Gabor is professional, hardworking, and absolutely dedicated to helping his clients achieve their goals. He consistently went above and beyond to help me locate records relating to my ancestors. Thanks to his efforts, I now have a much more complete picture of my family tree than I ever expected to achieve. Gabor was genuinely interested in obtaining the best possible outcome for me and creating a truly memorable experience—one that I will never forget. His in-depth knowledge of Hungarian history gave me a deeper appreciation of Hungary and its people. I highly recommend Gabor to anyone considering ancestry or family-history research in Hungary. His expertise, dedication, and professionalism made my trip both productive and rewarding.

Hello, Join me for a tour and look at sights through my eyes and explore with a local. I live in Budapest and have been working as a licenced local guide for about 10 years. I have a University educational background, I did my studies in Hungary and then worked as an intern in the United States for a year and a half. Hungary is a tiny little country but it has got several attractive cities, towns and natural wonders. Besides Budapest, I really like to work around Lake Balaton, in the Danube bend including Szentendre. I have had tourists almost from all over the world so far. Come with me and discover the secrets and beauties of Budapest during a four- hour sightseeing tour. Taking in all of the principal sights, my fascinating route takes you through the most famous and interesting parts of the city. In my spare time I like doing sports like cycling, skiing, hiking and I regulary take part in sailing compatitions. So if you are tired of walking and looking for challenges there is another option to explore the city by bike with the help of the public bike sharing system called Bubi.

Born and raised in Budapest, I’m a 37-year-old licensed, professional tour guide who lives and breathes the city every day! I started guiding 8 years ago as a passionate traveler and Budapest local myself, and I was eager to share my love and enthusiasm for this very special European city. Being an adventurer myself, I’ve lived in 5 different cities across Europe and Asia, and I also travel a lot in my free time, so I know exactly what it's like to arrive in a city as a stranger, wanting to learn and soak it all up! I can completely customize the tour according to your needs and interests, and I am ready to answer any question you might have, from politics through local life to history and architecture. I used to work as a gastronomy journalist, so in case you’re a foodie, I’m your person as well!:) I have been guiding private tours for 8 years daily, but I’m still very passionate and excited about meeting people from all over the world every day and getting to know them while showing them my culture, so you can rest assured that we’ll say goodbye as friends at the end of the tour!:) In my free-time I'm very much into psychology, traveling, learning languages, hiking, spending time with family and friends, writing and acting! I'm curious to learn about you too, if you like any of these activities, culture, arts and history and you want to explroe the city with a friendly, but professional, licensed, experienced true local guide by your side, I'm your person! I'd also gladly customsie the tour to your likes and wishes as, that's my specialty, so you can get the most out of your stay here!

Zsuzsa B.
Hi, Hola, Ciao! I am Zsuzsa, or Susan, or Susana. I speak 6 languages, love travelling and my birthtown, Budapest. I think it truly is one of the best places on Planet Earth. I am a photographer, artist, tourguide and teacher. I have been the first to start phototours in Budapest 10 years ago, and have been enjoying doing it still until this day. I really like to join my passion of photography and art, meeting people, travel without moving away and working as a tour guide. Photography is one of the most serious things in my life, I have had exhibitions home & abroad, I do a lot of commercial work, love to shoot elopements and stories of love and generally I find photography to be one of the most controversial & inspiring mediums of our time. Come and join me on a tour and let us discover Budapest’s many faces while we learn & discuss about photography. Is there a better way to spend a day as a traveller?
