Tour Important Information

Unfortunately visiting the Panorama tower is still not suitable for wheelchair users. To reach the Panorama terrace there are 2 elevators: a bigger one in the lower part and a smaller one in the upper part of the building; instead of using the second smaller elevator you may climb about 150 steps to reach the top of the dome, in case there are too many people waiting for the elevator

But the church itself is is accessible with a wheelchair as well, please let me know in this case we can visit only the beautiful interior of the Basilica and the price will be lower.

The church is closed on some special occasions like wedding ceremonies Please wear clothes appropriate for a church (no sleeveless tops, short skirts or shorts); men should uncover their heads It is forbidden to eat, drink, or smoke in the church area

Outstanding experience with Monica

Monic communicated well ahead of the tour, picked us up from the hotel right on time and spent well over an our above and beyond the time frame we have agreed on. Monica is a wealth of information and she shared it kindly and sensitively and with enthusiasm that made the tour just completely pleasant. She offered us a tour that covered all the sites we wanted to visit, yet was exceptionally flexible willing to take changes to the itinerary at any time during the day. She is clearly an expert in the history, economics and culture of Budapest and we recommend her wholeheartedly.

Zvi H.

In 1848, following the ghost stories of Hydesville, America and Europe saw a renewed interest in the occult and spiritual experiences. The modern Spiritist movement was born, and Budapest soon became one of its central hub. In this short 2 hour walking tour, we will go around the places connected to this occult movement: the homes of the practitioners of mesmerism, table-turning and alchemy; and buildings with stories of exorcism and unwelcome ghosts.
