Delhi Full-Day Private Guided Tour

This is a full-day privately guided day tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. It's an 8 hours tour of the city in a private car with a chauffeur and Tour guide. I strongly believe that this is the best way to explore all the colours and aspects of Delhi in one day.

Briefing about the tour and our we will head towards old Delhi for an exciting day tour
Jama Masjid
It is the largest mosque in India, commissioned by the fifth Mughal ruler Shah Jahan(who built the Taj Mahal)
Rickshaw Ride
Board into a cycle rickshaw/ tuk-tuk Sit back and enjoy the views as you ride past the several colourful and busy bazaars of Old Delhi.
Red Fort
We will drive around & stop for photos at the Red Fort from outside.
Raj Ghat
We will visit this memorial to Mahatma Gandhi the father of the nation.
India Gate
We will stop for photos at India Gate (WW1 memorial) an Arc-de-Triomphe-like 140 feet high gateway
Rashtrapati Bhawan
Drive around for photos to the official residence of the President of India.
Sansad Bhawan
The government of the largest democracy in the world sits in the parliament house. Drive around for photos
New Delhi
Optional Lunch Break(Not included) I can suggest good local restaurants.
Humayun’s Tomb
We will visit the beautiful tomb of the second Mughal emperor.
Qutub Minar
Finally, we will visit Qutub Minar The tall minaret, constructed in 1192 AD.
Back to Hotel
After your tour, you will be driven back to the Hotel. Your tour ends with sweet memories of Delhi.
Ending Point

Dear travellers. Let's explore Incredible India. My name is Vivek & I'm a professional tour guide in Northern India, Approved & Licenced by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India. My cities of expertise are Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Ranthambore, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Amritsar & Rajasthan.
I was born & brought up in a Traditional "Punjabi" family. My upbringing kept me rooted in my culture, values & traditions. Both of my parents were history teachers so growing up with them had an amazing impact on my life. My childhood memories are full of history lessons, stories of persons & places. It absolutely moulded me into the person I am today - one whose characteristics include a love for history & an obsession for travelling. You may be surprised just how much my parent's profession impacted my upbringing because I got a double dose of history from my teachers & parents. Later I moved to New Delhi, India & have been a resident in New Delhi for the past 20 years.
As a passionate reader, traveller & explorer of new sites, I have travelled a lot in Northern India. With a great interest in history, culture, tradition, people & places; I focused my learning towards the same. Hence I pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Management. Later acquired higher training of "Tourism & History" from MKITM, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. I have also been trained as a Professional Tour Guide from the "Indian Institute of Tourism & Management (Govt. of India)" & obtained my License from the Ministry of Tourism ( Government Of India) for Northern India Region.
Now I have 15 years of experience in Guiding, I have welcomed "Thousands" of International Tourists as my Valued Guests to my Incredible Country. Having spent a great amount of time in the traditional culture of my country, and the way my guests have enjoyed the Facts of India rooted with her history, I am always mesmerized to recall that I am a part of connecting people across countries to "My India". It's been a very proud feeling that I have been a source of sharing the history, culture & rich diversity of my Incredible country to the Visitors.

“Incredible 2 day sun Agra and Delhi”
Vivek was an outstanding guide . Knowledgable and passionate about Indian history. We spent 2 very enjoyable days in Delhi and Agra. Old Delhi was an amazing experience. Vivek was able to give us an insight into the Jain and Sikh religions while visiting the temples. The sites , sounds and smells of Old Delhi were amazing . Vivek was able to give us an a experience of the city. The Taj Mahal is all you expect and more. Vivek guided us through the crowds while sharing his knowledge off the history and architecture of the incredible site . A day to remember !!!!
