Panna meena ki Khund
A short 10-minute stop to view and photograph this historic stepwell from the outside. Built in the 16th century, it is known for its symmetrical staircases and serene setting near Amber Fort.
Amber Palace / Amer Mahal
Amber Palace (Amer Mahal), built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh, is a stunning fusion of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Perched on a hill overlooking Maota Lake, the palace is renowned for its grand courtyards, ornate gateways, and the dazzling Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace). Visitors can explore the intricate halls, temples, and gardens while enjoying panoramic views. A symbol of Jaipur’s royal heritage, Amber remains one of Rajasthan’s most iconic landmarks.
Jal Mahal ( Water Palace)
Jal Mahal (Water Palace) is a breathtaking palace set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, Jaipur. Built in the 18th century by Maharaja Madho Singh, it served as a leisure retreat and duck-hunting lodge for the royals. The palace appears to float on the serene waters, with its four submerged floors hidden beneath the lake and only the top floor visible. Surrounded by the Aravalli Hills, Jal Mahal is best admired at sunrise or sunset for its magical reflection.
Gatior ki Chattiyan
Gaitor ki Chhatriyan, located at the foothills of the Nahargarh Fort in Jaipur, is a royal cremation site of the Kachwaha dynasty. Known for its beautifully carved marble and sandstone cenotaphs (chhatris), it reflects a blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture. Each cenotaph is dedicated to a former maharaja, adorned with intricate carvings and delicate lattice work. This peaceful site offers a glimpse into Jaipur’s royal heritage, away from the bustling city.
