Bada Imambara & Rumi gate

Now in front of us is the main building of the Bada Imambara. And next to it, Rumi Darwaza. This is our walking tour, so we will not go inside the main building of the Imambara and will move forward while telling you about it in detail.

Gol darwaza

We have reached the Gol Darwaza. On the way you saw the traditional flower market. Gol Darwaza is the entrance gate of old Lucknow. Here you can taste the special Makhan Malai of winter.

Chowk bazaar

Now we have come to Chowk Bazaar. Now for the next half an hour we will roam here and try some food items like puri sabzi, black carrot halwa and many things. Besides this, we will see Zardozi work, see the old Unani Hospital, and see the block printing of chicken and much more besides this.

Firangi Mahal and Phool wali gali

Now we are in the Firangi Mahal, which is a very historical place. Where Gandhi ji used to stay and this was a center of the Non-Cooperation movement and the Khilafat movement. After this, we went to the Phool Wali Gali, which is 250 years old.

Katari tola

Now we will go to the residential area of Katari Tola. Here you will see the facade of old havelis and some 400- 500-year-old temples.

Akbari gate

Now we are going through Chauk Bazaar to our final destination Akbari Gate. Where you will see the work of perfume and mouth watering kulcha nihari delicious Tunde kabab and much more.
