“Manish Udaipur tour”

Absolutely the best guide I've ever had!! Manish was knowledgeable, engaged and, most of all, kind. He took extra time to answer all of our questions and was very thoughtful about our needs and curiosities. He was passionate about sharing his home and his love for the city really shone thru. After the tour, he kept tabs with us to make sure the rest of our trip was going well (including helping us plan activities in other cities. He provided the best day in our 2.5 weeks in India and we are super grateful to have had Manish as our guide!

“An Excellent Udaipur Guide. ”

Manish didn’t just show us around Udaipur, he gave us a masterclass in the city’s history. As someone not particularly familiar with Hinduism, I found his explanations both accessible and insightful, offering a solid foundation for understanding its core ideas. One historical highlight was his account of the Mughal–Mewar wars, when Akbar enlisted local rajas to fight on his behalf. Manish described a tactic in which soldiers placed elephant masks on horses so that war elephants would mistake them for calves and refuse to attack. It’s these kinds of surprising details that made the tour unforgettable. If you’re looking for a guide who truly knows his stuff and can make history come alive, Manish is your guy. Highly recommend!
