Meeting Point
Pick up from your hotel (Yogyakarta area)
- We start early morning to get the nice view along the street. I pick you from your hotel or homestay. One motor bike has one driver so guest will sit on rear seat of the bike.
Arrived at Borobudur
You can Explore the Buddhist temple of Borobudur, one of the 7 wonders. Please kindly be following the dress code of the temple to enter.
It is located in the Kedou Basin, approximately 40 kilometers northwest of Yogyakarta. The tower is placed on top of a nine-story stone platform, and the first story is approximately 120 meters on each side and 35 meters in total height. The reliefs on the walls and the Buddha carvings on the small pagoda are in the Gupta style, and it is estimated that it was built in the 8th or 9th century by the Shailendra dynasty, which believed in Mahayana Buddhism. It was discovered in the jungle in 1814, and in 1991, it was registered as a World Heritage Site (Cultural Heritage) under the name of "the Borobudur Temple Complex", along with the nearby Mundut Temple and Paon Temple.
