Arrived to Prambanan
You can explore Prambanan and Temples surrounding. Ruins are located in central Java, approximately 15 kilometers east of Yogyakarta. Built between the 8th and 9th centuries, there are about 30 Hindu and Mahayana Buddhist temples scattered within a few square kilometers. Built by King Pikatan of the Mataram dynasty, the Lorojongrang temple has a 47-meter-high shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, decorated with reliefs from the ancient Indian epic Ramayana. In 1991, it was registered as a World Heritage Site (Cultural Heritage) under the name "Prambanan Temple Group''.
