It is a place where the old time meets the modern. Indonesian travelers say "if you're not here yet, you're not considered ever visited Yogyakarta." Traditional Market
Pasar Beringharjo is a name of the main market in the city, located in Malioboro Street. The market offers everything locals needs, i.e meats, chicken, vegetables, herbs, clothes, crafts, household goods etc.
Benteng Vredeburg
Dutch Fortress in the city. There are some dutch buildings in this area. Those buildings are still used in other functions by local Gov.
