I've been a tourist guide for over 30 years by now and still love this job. I love staying with people from all over the world and I love seeing their sparkling eyes when they discover the wonderful city of Verona. We often remain friends and stay in touch for many years after, I'm really lucky to have such a nice and rewarding job in such a fantastic city!

“Great guide and a fun virtual tour”
Had a very nice time with Maria Pia G. today. We were booked as a couple and Maria opened the Zoom call on time and hosted a very fun and educational virtual tour for us. She is a very knowledgeable, funny and nice guide. Thank you so much, Maria!

“good experience”
Maria Pia was extremely nice and accommodating, she graciously allowed a bigger group than planned and left the chat open for us to talk to our party afterwards. The information was interesting, but the tour was more of a PowerPoint presentation, not so much a prerecorded video of a walking tour, which we were expecting. She also seemed slightly uncomfortable with the software she was using. For these reasons, the price seemed steep.

Hi Zoe, thank you for your report, even if, honestly, I am very sad about it, I never get 3 stars ... Why did you expect a pre-recorded video of a walking tour, I wonder, the experience is live, and that's the difference from what you can find in any youtube video (and I'm sure there are many on Romeo & Juliet online) . The description does not mention any pre-recorded video, and the PowerPoint slides where the images and links used as a visual context, the experience is of a live guide showcasting the story and the city of the time, the feelings of the people, the reasons why all this happened, and how even today, 700 years afterwards, so many people still come to Verona, attracted by this story. As for the platform, everything went perfectly smooth 'till you asked me at the end to leave the connection open for you and I didn't know how to do it since I was the organizer, I had never been asked and was not supposed to do such a thing, but it was all solved in less than a minute ... As for the price, it was some €5 per person at the end of the day, of which of course I get a part and on that part I pay taxes, so honestly I don't find it "steep" on my part, and anyway it was well specified from the beginning . So said, I hope you had a good afternoon, on my part it's been a real pleasure to be with you, and wish you all the best. Maria Pia
