I was born and raised in the northern "Sestiere" (district) of Venice: Cannaregio. Since I was a child I've always been curious about different countries and cultures and I enjoyed studying foreign languages, that's why I chose to study at the Touristy High School of Venice and after graduating I decided to study Economics of Tourism and Arts at the University of Venice - Ca' Foscari. Meanwhile I had some chances to travel as well, I visited most of the European countries, spending some weeks in the Uk, France and Spain to study, but I also had the chance to travel to Russia thanks to my University and to the United States. But the love for my city, Venice, has never decreased during the years and this is why I have decided to become a tour guide.

Hello everyone! My name is Roberto and I am ready to be your host and go with you to discover the very true side of Venice. I was born, raised up and living in Venice since 1957.... I have been knowing and loving Venice for more than half a century now. After being a concierge in the most famous hotels in Venice, I went for a change and took my licenses for both tour leader and environmental guide. I will certainly be able to show you how we live in Venice now and how we used to live in Venice some years ago...well, yes, I am old enough to do it! I am a true Venetian and I have a sort of warranty certificate for this... I mean for being a true Venetian. Because the family was a well known noble family in Venice that also gave Venice a doge...and who was the doge? Ehiiiiiii I cannot tell you everything now! Book a tour with me and you’ll discover!

Ciao! I'm Isabella. Welcome to my GoWithGuide page! I was born in the old town of Padua in 1965 but I've lived in Venice for over 30 years. I moved here to attend college and then settled down. After graduation in Anglo American literature I did different jobs: at the Biennale del Cinema (Venice Movie Festival), in museums, and for a few years I tought, too. In 1998 I approached tourism and got the license to work as tourist assistant. A few years later I became a guide. I love food and cooking is my great passion, that's why I do enogastronomic tours, too. After many years of touring I'm still emotional about my town. I'm very happy when I see people enjoying the time together and being enchanted by Venice never ending beauty! Looking forward meeting you here!

I'm a tour leader in Venice, where I moved to 18 years ago to study at the Cà Foscari University, and my specialization is in Japanese language and culture. I am deeply fascinated and fell in love with Japan and its traditions, and I consider it my second homeland. Somehow, Venice's nostalgic soul reminds me of the magic, beautiful fluctuating landscapes of the Land of the Rising Sun. Venice is like a bubble, a stand-alone reality, a separate world where you feel like living in a different era. In Venice, everything gets slower. You can catch people's eyes, and you can always feel at home.I deliver wine and food tours, sightseeing walikng tours for families with children, and tours of the islands of the lagoon. I love the outdoors, walking, and sharing my experience with my guests. I'm looking forward to show you my Venice!

So, I'll wait for you! Welcome to my Venice!

Venice Tour Guide - Giulia L.

My name is Julia and I am a licensed guide's assistant (accompagnatore turistico). Not being a native venetian, I moved to this city six years ago for the deepest admiration of its glorious story, unique architecture style and the breathtaking beauty. Living and working in Venice was my dream and I'm happy that I've managed to make it come true. Since '17 I'd worked as a travel & marketing interpreter and I got a guide's assistant license in 2023. Having two master's degrees, in Intercultural Communication and in Linguistics, I nevertheless continue to be engaged in my education. I try to meet the needs of guests, most of whom come for a short stay and often get perplexed which activity to choose, the choice is really huge. So I offer city tours & excursions either walking or in a boat, which I call “All inclusive”, in the meaning that my guests will see the maximum of the city in half-day or in a full-day term. This may be a good choice for those who come to Venice for the 1st time. My another passion is enogastronomy, I'm a real foody and I keep constantly updated about the best places in the city. I hope to share my experience with you and to welcome you in Venice!

Great introductory tour of Venice

Lucrezia is very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. We had flight changes and it was easy to reschedule and communicate with her. She is flexible as to itinerary, with an insider's insight of Venice. She is pleasant and comfortable to be with. She gave us restaurant/cafe/bar recommendations, which was a great help. Highly recommend.
