Steve L.
Hi, I'm Steve, a licensed Korean tour guide. I've spent seven years guiding international travelers through Korea—and a lifetime watching this remarkable country change. I was born in the late 1950s and grew up watching Korea transform from a struggling postwar nation into the dynamic, modern country you see today. So when I share stories about Korea's transformation, I'm not just talking about history I've read in books. Much of it is part of my own life. Before becoming a guide, I worked as a television producer and later served as the CEO of a local government cultural agency. My career took me across Korea, allowing me to discover its diverse regions, traditions, and people. I've also lived in the United States for a year and traveled to more than 15 countries. These experiences have helped me understand different cultures and connect naturally with international visitors. Whether we're exploring Seoul's royal palaces, visiting the DMZ, discovering local neighborhoods, or traveling beyond Seoul, I believe a great tour is about more than seeing famous places. It's about understanding the stories behind them. My tours are private, relaxed, and tailored to your interests and pace. **My goal is simple: to help you discover not just what Korea looks like, but what makes Korea the country it is today.** I'd love to show you my Korea.

Rossi K.
Hi! I'm Rossi, a licensed English-speaking tour guide in Korea. For me, guiding is not simply about showing you famous places. I want you to understand the stories behind what you see — why a palace was built this way, how history shaped modern Korea, why certain foods became part of everyday life, and how Koreans actually live today. History is one of my biggest interests, especially Korea's royal history and the stories behind its palaces and traditional neighborhoods. But my tours are not history lectures. I also love exploring local markets, trying good food, discovering interesting cafés, wandering through hidden streets, and experiencing the small details of everyday Korean life that you might otherwise pass by. I'm also a big café lover! Korea has an amazing café culture, and I enjoy discovering everything from small neighborhood cafés to unique and beautifully designed spaces. If you love coffee and cafés too, we'll definitely have something to talk about. I started guiding international travelers in 2019, and over the years I've learned that no two guests are the same. Some want to dive deep into history, some want great food, cafés, photography or local experiences, and others simply want to enjoy Korea at a comfortable pace. That's why I prefer to adapt the day around the people I'm traveling with rather than follow the same script every time. I offer both walking and driving experiences, from exploring Seoul's palaces and neighborhoods to discovering places beyond the city, including the DMZ and other destinations around Korea. Most importantly, I want my guests to feel comfortable asking questions, changing the pace, or being curious about anything they see. Think of me not just as your guide, but as a local travel mate who happens to know a lot of stories about Korea. If you leave the tour feeling that you understand Korea a little better — and with a few good stories and memories to take home — then I've done my job.

Johnny C.
Hello, I am a native Seoul guide, born and raised in Gangnam, where I have lived all my life. Growing up while witnessing the transformation of Gangnam and the rhythm of Seoul has given me the unique strength of introducing the city from the perspective of someone who has truly lived it. For the past ten years, I have worked in the travel industry, meeting guests from many different countries and gaining extensive experience in on-site operations, product development, and customer service. Through this, I have come to understand—more deeply than anyone—what international travelers look for in Seoul and what moments genuinely move them. This insight allows me to design customized routes and narratives that match each traveler’s interests and purpose. With a background in English studies and practical field experience, I guide naturally in both Korean and English, explaining even complex historical and cultural topics with clarity and ease. My broad on-site experience also enables me to remain calm and flexible when unexpected situations arise. To me, Seoul is not only my workplace but my home. I aim to present this familiar city in the freshest, most authentic way—so you can experience Seoul at its very best. Thank you.

Hi there! I'm Chris, and I've been a licensed tour guide since 2004. Being in a foreign country can sometimes feel a bit daunting and overwhelming. It's a bit of a challenge when you don't speak the language, but that's all part of the adventure! You'll have to figure out the map, get around, and manage your money. While jet lag is still lingering, you're eager to see as much as possible before your flight departs in a few days. Relax, my friend! You'll be in the very best hands with your very own reliable tour guide in Korea! I'll be your personal tour guides, helping you plan the perfect itinerary and taking you to all the best tourist attractions Korea has to offer. I'm a fully licensed, professional tourist guide, and I've been doing this since 2004. In Korea, you need a special license issued by the Korean government to work as a tourist guide. I've always had a real passion for history, tradition, and culture. I'm so proud of my English, and I absolutely love using it to chat with guests about the history and traditions of Korea. I absolutely love sharing my culture with them and showing them what it's like to be a true Korean. I'm so excited to show you the best of Korea! Being local is the best way to enjoy the country, and I'm here to help you do just that. I've been lucky enough to take countless tours myself, so I can offer you a wealth of knowledge to help you get the most out of your time here.

Historian Guide | Korea’s Past and Modern Transformation Understanding Korea takes more than memorized history. It helps to explore the country with someone who has experienced its transformation firsthand. Hello, I’m Andy, a licensed English-speaking Korean tour guide with the highest-level Korean History certification, an MBA, and a background in chemical engineering. Before becoming a guide, I spent over 25 years in Korea’s gas and petrochemical industries, working with major Korean corporations and witnessing the country’s remarkable industrial and economic transformation. My tours connect royal dynasties and traditional philosophy with industrialization, contemporary society, architecture, and art. Rather than simply presenting dates and landmarks, I help travelers understand the bigger picture of Korea. I occasionally use specially curated visual insight cards to make complex historical and cultural connections accessible and engaging. Having lived in Indonesia and Vietnam for nearly a decade, I also bring an international perspective to our conversations. Each tour is thoughtfully tailored to your interests, pace, and priorities. I also design customized multi-day journeys to Gyeongju, Andong, and Busan. For vehicle-based tours, I use a 2025 Hyundai Staria Hybrid for a quiet and comfortable private travel experience. I look forward to exploring Korea with you. Andy

Incheon Tour Reviews
Diana L.
“Excursion to Seoul from our cruise port. ”
Minho Kang met us right inside the cruise terminal building with a sign which was very convenient. He was such an awesome guide. He told us so much about everything we saw and you could tell how much he loved his country and he wanted to please us. He explained in detail the history about everything we saw and you could tell how much he enjoyed showing us very important parts of Seoul. We saw such beautiful things and he was very patient when we wanted to take pictures and take our time to admire everything we were seeing. He took us to a pharmacy so my sister could buy medicine and helped her find the right product for her needs. I bought a postcard that I wanted to mail to my grandson and he stamped it and put it in the mail for me because the post office was already closed. I thought that was so generous of him. I think our tour lasted longer than what we booked it for and we all had a great time with him.

Thank you, Katie. I am very glad to hear that you enjoyed my tour. The layover tour is one of the difficult tours because time allocation is very important. If you come to Korea again, I will do my best for your unforgettable moments in Korea. I hope everything goes well with you and your family.
