“Kwan is great!”

An outstanding day with Kwan! He picked us up at our hotel and spent the whole day sharing his knowledge of Korean history, and also of Korea today: how the country works, its culture and its daily life. Everywhere we went he gave clear and engaging explanations. Our visit to the DMZ was a highlight. Kwan explained exactly how it works, arranged everything for us, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Afterwards he took us to a local market, where he told us about its background, the food you can find there, how things taste and what Korean eating habits are like. We picked out a few dishes together and shared them in a little café, which was a wonderful end to the day. Kwan is friendly, knowledgeable and truly excellent at what he does. He goes out of his way for his guests and takes great care of them. We can't recommend him highly enough!

I really enjoyed your genuine interest in our history and culture. And I must give you both extra credit for bravely trying all those unfamiliar foods, haha! We had a fantastic experience touring Seoul with Kwan! He is extremely knowledgeable about Korean history and did an excellent job explaining the fascinating stories behind the places we visited. He made the history come alive and helped us better understand Korean culture and traditions. Kwan was also very friendly, patient, and helpful throughout the entire tour, always making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. His passion for Korea and dedication to providing a wonderful experience really stood out. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him and highly recommend Kwan to anyone visiting Seoul!

It was truly my pleasure guiding you and your sister during your stay in Seoul. This was actually my first time spending meaningful time with guests from Israel and hearing Hebrew spoken throughout the day — learning about Hebrew culture and comparing it with Korean traditions was such a valuable and memorable experience for me. A very special thanks to both of you for being so open to trying local Korean food, even though many dishes were completely unfamiliar.
