“recommended”
We had about 3 hour login guided tour in Marrakesh old city with Hassan. group consist od 10 charming ladies and three of us. This might be only cons of tour that group had total od 13 people its not anybody fault and in the end it was not problem at all. First I must say that communication with Hassan was superb, instruction where and when to be was precise. Tour was full of information but also funny and very well to understand. Resume, I would highly recommend tour to anybody who is looking for half day tour in Marrakesh with lots of informations, but still not overloaded with them.

“Day trip to Agadir (Taghazout) ”
Very professional driver and clean car. Took 15 minutes to find him in the morning but eventually did and he took me and my friends to a resort for the day pass to Taghazout 30 mins from Agadir. It was a lovely day. He even waited 30 minutes extra at the end of the day for us to finish. Would highly reccomend.

“Highly engaging, informative and varied tour”
We could not initially find Abderrazzak, but he had sent a stand-in, whose name we have not remembered and it was a fabulous 4 hours by the time we reached the end. Apologies our guide was excellent. He was well-informed, spoke excellent English and took account of our interests. We quickly learnt about the history of Morocco and the dynasties which have ruled this part of North Africa. He did not ask us to support specific stalls (some guides we hear get commission for doing this), but did allow us to see various souks and to talk to the craftsmen and owners. We learnt an enormous amount which had not been read in a guide book by us in advance and really set us up for the remaining 3 days to navigate this great city. Would encourage all to find the copper souk and to try spiced Saharan coffee. Highly recommend the tour.
Capture Marrakech with a local private tour guide and gain unique insights, off the beaten path adventures, safety and comfort for you and your loved ones.
Hiring a private, local guide in Marrakech can transform a simple visit into an unforgettable, customized adventure. One of the primary benefits is the level of safety and security a knowledgeable guide provides. Navigating the bustling maze of the Medina can be overwhelming for first-time visitors. A guide ensures you explore iconic spots like Jemaa el-Fnaa square and around the Koutoubia Mosque with ease, while avoiding potential scams or unsafe areas, making your experience both safe and enjoyable.
Local tour guides also introduce you to hidden gems and local experiences, such as discovering a tucked-away riad or enjoying an authentic meal at a local’s favorite spot, offering a deeper connection to the culture and essence of Marrakech.
We believe tour guides in Marrakech are necessary if you want to save time (not waste time getting lost, getting confused), understand local culture and keep away from scams and low quality/inauthentic souvenirs.
Guides are also essential for those who want to stay safe in places like the Medina and Jamaa el-Fnaa square, and local guides help you gain access to off the beaten path adventures in the city. Therefore, we strongly recommend getting a Marrakech local guide to make your tour smooth, time saving, and enjoyable.
Our customizable Marrakech tours range from around 19-80 USD per person, to 50-340 USD per group, depending on activities, meal plans, attraction fees and transport arrangements. To see how much your ideal Marrakech private tour would cost, talk to a local guide about your interests.
3–4 days are generally considered sufficient to explore Marrakech thoroughly. This timeframe allows you to visit major attractions such as the Medina, Koutoubia Mosque, Jardin Majorelle, and take day trips to nearby destinations like the Atlas Mountains or the Agafay Desert.
Yes, Marrakech is a walkable city, particularly within the Medina where cars are restricted. For a more intimate experience, the square, and the narrow streets and alleyways are best explored on foot. However, navigating the Medina can be challenging due to its maze-like layout, so having a map or a local guide can be very helpful.
The best months to visit Marrakech is during the spring (March to May) and fall (September to November) when the weather is pleasant and temperatures are moderate. During these periods, you can comfortably explore the city's outdoor attractions and enjoy activities without the extreme heat of summer or the chill of winter. Take note, March to May are the peak tourist months, so expect larger crowds.
Yes, you can drink alcohol in Marrakech, but it is regulated and usually consumed in specific venues such as hotels, bars, and restaurants catering to tourists. You can drink alcohol at a licensed restaurant/venue.
Remember, it's important to be respectful of local customs and laws, which restrict public consumption of alcohol. Some popular places to enjoy a drink include upscale hotels and licensed bars in the city.
