Je suis aussi gérant de la maison de vacances le long de fleuve Kamogawa, et maître de conférences à temps partiel de l'Université. J'ai obtenu le diplôme Master tourisme et environnement à l'Université Versailles Saint Quentin en Yvelines et guide de nombreux chercheurs francophones en tant que guide touristique français comme guide national. Pourquoi j'ai choisi le métier d'un guide touristique? Parce que mes collègues francophones étaient vraiment gentils lorsque j'ai travaillé en France, au Sénégal et au Gabon comme chercheur. Alors je voudrais retourner la faveur aux gens francophones. Je peux guider non seulement des sites historiques populaires, mais aussi la vie locale à Kyoto, notamment izakaya(bar traditionnel japonais), sento(bain public), pique-nique à fleuve Kamogawa inclus petit déjeuner etc... During my stay in Kyoto I volunteered as a tour guide for foreign visitors. After graduation I moved to Tokyo and worked in the marketing and promotions field. On weekends I continued to work as a tour guide volunteer in Tokyo. I have also studied at the University of California, Irvine and worked for a tech company in Anaheim California. It was great oppotuniay for me to see Japan from foreigner's perspective. I was born in Osaka, and grown up under nature loving parent, and spent a lot of time on hiking, fishing, camping and skiing in my youth. I have been guiding trekkers from north to south Japan, as well as oversea trails. Even when I'm not at work, enjoy trekking trails in Rokko area which is just by the door. I'm a JMGA (Japan Mountaineering Guides Association) certificated Trekking Guide (stage II), and you'll be enjoying the trail without any issues and worries with me.

I have multiple jobs right now. One is a mediator and the other is an English teacher. After working for some life insurance company for about 40 years, I got a job for some Family Court as a mediator and I enjoy helping those who get in trouble. I also teach English for beginners, especially for TOEIC TEST. I love music. When I was in university student, I was a conductor for a male chorus. Since then I have been really into Opera. I don't mean to be pompous, but actually, I'm good at entertaining any guests at any occasion, as I had worked as head of sales, human resources, and branch manager. Almost a decade ago I had lived in Kyoto for 5 years and I have been enthralied by charm and attraction of Kyoto, such as history, culture, cuisine and beauty:as in cherry blossom in Spring, colorful leaves in Autumn and GION festival and so on. My name is Yoshi, alias known as "Lonesome Cowboy", who used to live and work in El Paso in the Lone Star state of the US. During my stay there, I was able to enjoy opportunities to go around the Southwest (TX, NM, AZ, UT, CO) alone, taking advantage of given long holidays. The total distance I drove was no less than 3,000 km (about 1,900 miles). I dropped by a motel in a countryside town along the highway, drank several glasses of whiskey at the bar, and the next day continued travelling for other new towns that I had never seen before. I felt that I was just a cowboy wandering place to place of the wide country in the middle of the 19th century. Long time has passed since I had come back to Japan from that exciting and fulfilling life there, and I already retired and came back to my hometown, KOHOKU (湖北; The northern region of lake Biwa, Shiga pref.) When I recall back those good old days, a kind of feeling that I would like to serve tourists from abroad has bubbled over in my mind. I want to help you to see and enjoy quite distinctive four seasons, impressive legends and moving stories caused by historic happenings, and casual everyday lives of the village people here. Let me guide you around KOHOKU, which is not definitely on the Golden route of Japan travel and will not become in the future either, but we believe you must be able to feel and catch a kind of essence of the Japanese people who had created and have developed the deep and genuine culture. Such nature, historical events and crystallization of the people's effort are the ultimate attraction of KOKOKU.

I spent most of that time in India, where among other activities I had my first experiences as a tour guide. There I also met my wife, and when the relationship got more serious we decided to settle down and have a more stable life, we chose Japan where she is from. Since then I had many personal experiences in this country in different fields such as human relations, jobs in different sectors, trips, bizarre situations, etc, experiences that I always like to share, together with some knowledge about aspects of the culture that I studied for years, just for the sake of getting knowledge without thinking that I would do this activity later on. I have lived in Osaka city and parts of Hyogo such as Kobe, Nishinomiya when I worked for a bank and cram schools and also, was a University student. And I made a short trip to various Kansai area such as Nara and Kyoto and so on, moreover a long trip to Kanto area such as Yokohama, Tokyo and Nikko. So I am knowledgeable about especially Kansai area, where there are some present-day major cities and other age-old or traditional major cities. They abound in awesome spots to see. Let's enjoy various type of tours. My hobby is to walk around minor part of towns as well and mountainside to refresh my life and watch sport game such as baseball and soccer game, not just indoor game. Le recomiendo las rutas reputadas establecidas en mi perfil porque en las rutas se condensan las buenísimas cosas japonesas. Por supuesto podremos cambiarlos por algunos lugares que le gusten. También puedo hacer de guía a los lugares pocos turistas tranquilos que se encuentran en Kioto, Nara, Osaka, etc. Si quiere probar la comida japonesa auténtica, los llevaré a un restaurante típico japonés tradicional con varios platos que se come bien en Kioto.
