About Tour Guide Masahiko T.
Hello, I'm Masahiko. I am a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter.I was born in Kobe. Now I live in Hirakata city located between Kyoto and Osaka.
I am very familiar to Kansai region especially Kyoto and Osaka and I can show you various nice places in this region. Kyoto had been a capital city in Japan and the emperor's residence from 794 until 1868. So there are a lot of historically important places in Kyoto. You must see them. And Osaka is the largest city after Tokyo and it’s one of the most popular tourist destinations in Japan. There are a lot of attractions in Osaka such as neon lights at night, delicious local food, modern and trendy shopping streets, the amusement parks.
I studied Chemical Engineering at a University in Osaka and have worked in Japanese manufacturers. I have been to more than 30 countries as business trips. I had many wonderful experiences at various places all over the world. Over the years, I have came to love travelling and showing beautiful and wonderful Japan to foreigners.

Kyoto full-day tour
I will introduce the most popular tourists' destinations in Kyoto, such as Kinkaku-ji temple (Golden pavilion), Ryoan-ji temple, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kiyomizu Temple, and Gion district. It is a one-day tour (8 hour) and I can customize as you like. Normally we can visit 3 or 4 spots in Kyoto using public transportation (subways, trains, buses etc.). Let's enjoy sightseeing in Kyoto together.
Nara Full Day Tour from Kyoto
Nara is located within one hour from Kyoto and Osaka by trains. Since Nara is the oldest capital city in Japan, it remains full of historic treasures, including some of Japan's oldest and largest temples. “Very nice guide”
Masahiko was very nice. We asked him to see the Bamboo forest, so he took us there. The area was very crowded, so the experience was not as pleasant as we had hoped for. Masahiko was great at taking us there and back.

Enjoyed yhe cirty aspects of the tour but felt we spent a little too much time at the site outside of the city where there was not a lot to see.

“excellent day in Kyoto”
Masahiko planned an itinerary based on my requests with some suggestions of his own based on his knowledge and experience. He was very flexible when I wanted to veer off course. Also made an excellent selection for lunch - traditional and very good. His knowledge of the city and off the beaten track areas made the day special. We covered so much of Kyoto in one day thanks to his organization and knowledge of sites and transit system.

Hi! I'm Koichi. I was born in Osaka, I studied in Kyoto when I was a university student. Now I live in Shiga next to Kyoto. I am a national government licensed tour guide. Well, I am curious about Japanese history, especially the history of Japan's ancient times since I was raised next to the world biggest mausoleum of the ancient Emperor called "Nintoku" in Sakai city Osaka which has just become one of the world cultural heritage sites.
