Hello, my name is Shigeru. I was born and am living in Tokyo and lived in New York for 8 years and Osaka. When I was in the United States, I received a great amount of favor, so I think this is my turn to do a lot of favor to foreign tourists. If I could assist foreign visitors to enhance and develop their cultural literacy about Japan, I would be more than happy.
Fuhito K.
Hi! My name is Fuhito, and I would love to be your tour guide in Japan!
I will take you on wonderful trips around Japan, and I specialize in giving extraordinary experiences that you will never forget, from popular sightseeing spots to places off the beaten track.
Let me share a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Tokyo’s countryside, and I have spent 3.5 years abroad when I was a child. While I was abroad, I realized that I knew so little about my own country. Since then, I became much more interested in Japan and started to research a lot. The more I learned about Japan, the more I became attracted to Japanese history, culture, and customs, which made me want to live like an ideal Japanese person in some way. I first started out as a volunteer guide and interpreter in Tokyo, and I am now certified as a national licensed guide and interpreter, and have been traveling around Japan to learn more about my country, and to share it with my future guests and friends. As I introduce things about Japan, I found myself enjoying seeing my friends and guests becoming more interested in Japan. Since then, I have also sought out opportunities to get involved in many cultural exchange programs such as walking tours, promoting sister city relationships, taking care of delegations, and organizing homestay programs.
I also love to take photos of beautiful scenery, people, and traditional things. I would be more than happy to take your photos for you while you are in Japan, so please feel free to ask! There are so many memories that you can remember from a single photo. Please reach out to me if you have any specific requests or even if you’re just looking for information. I would be delighted to take you to photogenic places to take some photos together!
I always enjoy guiding and want to contribute to your wonderful trip with the very best of my hospitality. When you have a chance to travel around Japan, please feel free to ask me anything!
And if you book me for a tour, we will surely have a great time together.
I look forward to seeing you in Japan!
Noriko K.
Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Noriko.
I am a national licensed guide and had been working for the biggest travel company in Japan for 13 years. I worked more than 20 kinds of tours such as Kamakura, Kawagoe, and major towns in Tokyo. But while staying at home due to the COVID-19, I wanted to improve my specialism and started studying Japanese art in order to guide the Tokyo National Museum in the Ueno park.
I was born, grew up, in Tokyo where I live with my husband, son and a dog. Our family love traveling and enjoy skiing. I love history very much and drawing illustrations. So, I can explain the characteristics and background of Japanese art using illustrations I made.
I'm sure I can help you learn and understand the basics of Japanese art. Please contact me. I'm looking forward to seeing you.
Sachiko S.
I worked at an advertising agency for 35years, now I retired from my work and decided to work as an English guide.
I lived in London when I was a kid so no problem with English pronunciation.
My goal is to let foreigners talk with Japanese people
The most interesting part of travel abroad is not shopping, not Foods, not the historical monument, it is to communicate with local people!
Naoko H.
Hello, everyone! I'm Naoko, a national government licensed guide interpreter in English.
I grew up in Shizuoka, near Mt.Fuji, and I live in Yokohama now.
I like to travel around Japan with my family, we have been to all 47 prefectures in Japan.
I want to introduce not only beautiful famous spots in Japan but also our daily life, what we eat, where we go shopping, and where children love to go.
I am looking forward to seeing you in Japan!
Mariko W.
Hello guests! Welcome to Japan and thank you for your coming our country. I'm Mariko, a local guide of English speaking, who were born and raised in Tokyo. I am very curious to know why you choose Japan as your trip destination this time :-)
I have experienced to be a local guide for guests from almost 15 different countries as volunteer activities for a few years so far. My motivations of guide activities are communicating with lots of people from abroad as well as introducing our unique cultures such as architectures, histories, industries, educations and cuisines. I am even learning different perceptions about Japan from foreign guests.
In particular, Tokyo is one of massive cities in the world and it may be a bit difficult for you to decide by yourself where you visit, what you do for your experience, what you want to eat, especially in case it is the first visit to Japan. Additionally, you may have language barriers and transportation systems in Tokyo may be complicated to understand for strangers. I am always welcome to be your guide in such cases and very happy if I can support to make your trip wonderful and memorable.
My guide tour is almost personalized and flexible, vising to 3-4 sightseeing spots in a day according to your ideas. So, please get contact with me and let me know your preferences. I am looking forward seeing you and share the moment with you here in Japan!
For your information, I love traveling as well and visited to 20+ counties in the world and had some educational backgrounds in US & UK. My hobbies are searching nice & reasonable cafes, going on hiking and visiting to various types of Onsen (hot springs) all over Japan.
Hiro H.
Hi, I'm Hiro. I am a licensed national tour guide. I live in Yokohama, just an hour by train from Tokyo. Since my workplace is located in Tokyo, I know the capital from famous sightseeing spots to hidden places.
I love travelling. I have been to 15 countries around the world. While travelling, I love to experience the local cultures. I am, especially, fond of strolling local markets to feel the local vibes. If you want to feel what Japan is really like, I can show and share destinations of Japan from internationally popular ones to local neighborhoods such as Owl café or Izakaya restaurant. I will be very pleased to see you in Japan.

Yayoi S.
¡Hola!
¡Espero tu mensaje!
