Hi! I’m Ki — your overly excited, always-curious, and sometimes accidentally funny Japan guide. I guide in Kanagawa, Yokohama, and Tokyo. I’m not just a guide — I’m also a photographer and video creator, which means two things: 1. You’ll get great photos of your trip, 2. And I’ll probably say “Wait! The light here is amazing!” at least three times a day. I guide in English, Japanese, and Chinese, so whether you’re asking “Where should we eat?”, “这是什么?”, or “どう行けばいいですか?” — I’ve got you covered! My tours are friendly, relaxed, and full of little surprises. I love showing travelers not only the famous spots, but also the cozy corners and hidden gems that make Japan special. Families, couples, solo travelers… everyone is welcome! I’m naturally optimistic, always smiling, and I truly believe the best part of any trip is the fun we don’t plan. My goal is simple: Make your day in Japan easy, fun, and memorable — with lots of laughter along the way. If you want a cheerful, flexible guide who can translate your cravings into real food, help you navigate the trains, and take great photos of you — I’m here! Let’s explore Japan together — one snack, one photo, and one “Ooh that’s cute!” at a time.

We are mindful of the changes the tourism boom has brought to Lisbon in recent years, which is why we support the art of hospitality without neglecting our genuine Lisboan identity and this is what we will share with you. We like detours and how they keep surprising us. We might stop for 20 minutes to see the sunset or take a walk and go have a ginginha at that special place. We don’t want your trip to Lisbon to taste like a frozen meal. What we serve here is homemade and freshly prepared.

This is the reason why I took the license of Kanazawa Visitor's Host and started a local tour guide. Although I've just started as a tour guide in 2018,I sincerely enjoy making a personalized plan that every single guest would be able to make the day here in Kanazawa perfectly. Zögern Sie also nicht, mir Ihre Wünsche mitzuteilen! Und noch etwas: Entschuldigen Sie, wenn ich manchmal ein wenig Schwäbisch spreche – den Grund erfahren Sie während meiner Tour! -------------------------------------------------------------- I was born and raised in Japan and later moved to Germany. From 1998 to 2021, I lived in Germany. For me, Germany is like a second home, full of wonderful memories. As an experienced simultaneous interpreter for German/Japanese (for 16 years) and English/Japanese (for 5 years) , I am constantly moving between cultures. That’s why I’m even more excited to introduce you to my home country—in your language! The great thing about a private guided tour is that it can be tailored to your preferences. So please don’t hesitate to let me know what you’d like to see and experience! I’m looking forward to guiding you on my tour!

My name is Jeronimo (Jeroen). I'm Mexican and European. I studied economics with a specialization in International Management at Maastricht University, The Netherlands. I have always been fascinated by Latin America. After my studies I worked as a consultant, entrepreneur and commercial director in Belgium, Brazil, The Netherlands, Guatemala, and Argentina. I have been active in humanitarian aid in Third World countries worldwide. I have travelled extensively to Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America. I have worked as a tour conductor in France, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Belize and Indonesia. Mexico is where I decided to stay twenty years ago. I started off with groups of 20 people with trips of 28 days from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Belize and back to Mexico. After this I switched to trips of 21 days visiting the same countries. After having visited each archaeological site over 60 times, each time with another local guide, I decided to study Mexican History and Archaeology, inspired by some of the local guides who told the tourists that the Mayas landed from Mars in spaceships. I am specialized in Maya culture. Working with people and showing them different cultures is what fascinates me. In 2004, I started off with the big tour companies like TUI and Thomas Cook, who commercialized the trips from 28 days and reduced it to 12 days. I did that for 10 years, after which I went on as a private tour guide/driver for small groups. I offer private day tours and multi day tours to all archaeological sites and nature parks transportation included in English, French, German, Dutch, and Spanish.
