My name is Kumiko. I used to live in New York and London and worked for US companies for many years. Based on my experience, I recognize that Japan is a fascinating country, but at the same time, it is unique in many ways. Tokyo, as the capital of Japan, is a unique and diverse mix of cutting-edge technology, traditional culture, and Western influences. As an art lover, I am happy to show you many galleries in Tokyo. I received a Certificate of Art Business Masterclass from Christie's. As a guide, I'd like to explain to my guests about Japanese culture as well as background and introduce popular places and food. I think most visitors coming to Japan are hoping both to enjoy themselves and also have a meaningful encounter with a different culture. I am looking forward to helping you explore my city and enjoy everything it has to offer.

Hello! I’m Ahmed, a passionate tour guide based in Kyoto, Japan. Originally from Kuwait, I moved back to Palestine where I earned my Medical Degree (MD) in 2008. In 2015, I was fortunate to receive a Japanese government scholarship to pursue further studies at Kyoto University, one of Japan’s top institutions. Living in Kyoto opened my eyes to the rich history and stunning scenery of this ancient city, which served as Japan’s capital for over a thousand years. It ignited my passion for culture, history, and food, leading me to embark on a rewarding career as a tour guide. I have traveled extensively across Europe and Asia, and I love sharing my knowledge of Japanese culture with others. I can provide historical insights at every stop, recommend the best local cuisine, and create personalized itineraries, including day trips from Tokyo to Kyoto. I’m fluent in English and Arabic, and I thrive on connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Whether you’re interested in exploring temples, experiencing traditional cuisine, or simply enjoying the beauty of Kyoto, I’m here to make your visit unforgettable. Your safety and comfort are my top priorities. I measure my temperature before our tours and am happy to wear a mask if it makes you feel more comfortable. While I'm not a driver, I will accompany you in your vehicle or arrange for a separate car and driver if needed. Book with confidence and get ready to explore Kyoto with me! I can’t wait to show you why I believe this city is the most beautiful in Japan. Ahmed, MD, PhD, MBA

Hello! Welcome to my page and hopefully soon, New York! I am a born and bred NY Native, having grown up in Manhattan on the Upper West Side. The city, its people, food, neighborhoods, rich diverse history, cutting edge innovation, storied nightlife and world-renowned cultural treasures were my playground and classroom; and I am so grateful to have had this teacher. After University, I lived for three years in London and Paris - and then returned to my home town where I have been enjoying my work in Tourism and Hospitality ever since. I’ve been a professional guide for many years working for companies like Tui, Globus and Disney. I have lead groups, both large and small, that include students, adults, business professionals, and retirees from the U.S. and abroad. I love taking guests around my beautiful city, and re-discovering its majesty and wonder with visitors - this is truly a privilege. I excel at private tours and in sharing the magical experiences that can only be found in this dynamic and daunting city. Together, we will unlock it's secrets and discover why NYC, the star of so many memorable movies and novels, is such a beloved, romantic and exciting city. What do I do in my spare time? I write, act, garden and hike. I teach kids financial literacy in an after school enrichment program. I walk my wonderful dog in Brooklyn Bridge Park and I take advantage of the world-class museums and restaurants this great city has to offer. If you wish, I would be happy to work together and plan your perfect itinerary with a customized experience - or you may choose from one or more of my predesignated tour options.

Born in Japan, I’ve also lived in the U.S. and India, giving me a broad cultural perspective. While I have a reserved and easygoing nature, I enjoy meeting new people and building genuine connections. I’m a car enthusiast and love exploring rural roads, though I’ve also worked in Japan’s bustling cities like Tokyo and Osaka. Whether you want a relaxed countryside tour or to discover hidden gems, I’ll help make your journey memorable. I look forward to guiding you on an unforgettable adventure in Japan!

Japan
Hi, I have taken over 100 tourists on in-depth local explorations of Tokyo. My specialties are gourmet food and seasonal events. Temples and shrines are great, but why don't you come and enjoy the scenery and cuisine that Japanese people are crazy about these days? Besides being a guide,I also study architecture as a hobby over the past several years. That’s why I registered on this platform to create an original tour featuring architecture and latest trends for local. Historical Japanese structures such as World Heritage is amazing, but Japan has many wonderful contemporary structures like shrines and museums, which is designed by various architects.I hope to show them with my tour. I was born in Hokkaido and it's been about 10 years since I moved to Tokyo area. I have always had a strong admiration for Tokyo, and have been exploring various attractive spots around the city. That's why I'll not only guide you to the main tourist spots ,but also arrange unique experience according to your preference :) ===== Traveling gives me a chance to get to know how other people live, their culture, and discovering new places . This is why I work as a guide, my goal is to give guests a real "local experience"--like what I've experienced on my travels so far. Don't worry if you are not good at English. Unfortunately, I can only speak Japanese and English, but I will do my best to make your tour as satisfying as possible using gestures and various other ideas. Hope to see you soon!

¡Hola!

I have traveled to more than 40 countries. I always have spent happy time with local people. To return their favor, I have become a Kumano Kodo guide to help tourists enjoy Kodos. I am a government certified guide and have guided over 50 international clients in 6 years. I can help you with Kumano expertise, risk management, and hospitality skills I am a plum farmer and make umeboshi now. So I would tell you stories of as well as Japanese farming and food. Only local guides help you finding spots to rest in today's weather, locating a clean public restroom, and choosing the best sashimi for the season. Most importantly, you can acquire useful information without having to glance at tiny screens, not with phones but with local guides.
