Hello. My name is Atsuko.I'm a licensed tour guide in Japan.
I have lived in Osaka since I was born.
I have guided many tourists all over the world as a volunteer for 6 years. I like showing my tourists my favorite places in Japan and talking with them. Osaka, where I was born and raised, is famous for foods, modern and ancient cultures. Nara and Kyoto, which are neighboring places, were ancient capitals in Japan. I'm happy to visit those places with you.
Important
I am available for doing tours in Osaka, Nara, Kyoto and Kobe at least three days in a week.
I usually know my schedule a month in advance.
Please check my schedule before booking.
I can also do tours until 8 pm (finish time) in Osaka and Nara, 7 pm (finish time) in Kyoto and Kobe.
My transportation fees and lunch costs are not included in the tour price so I respectfully request you pay these costs in cash at the end of the tour.

Osaka One Day Tour with history & local food

Nara is also rich in nature. Mountains, primitive forests and parks enhance the attraction of Nara. This tour includes Kofukuji Temple, Todaiji Temple and Kasuga Shrine, which are World Heritage Sites. We will also visit the Nara Park which is famous for deer. Saga Arashiyama is located in the northwest of Kyoto city, which was an ancient capital of Japan. It is famous for its scenic beauty. There are many picturesque places such as bamboo groves, mountain ranges, bridges, rivers, historical temples and shrines , scenic trains, and a 'Kimono Forest'. On this tour we will walk down the mountainside, visit some peaceful temples, see the beautiful bamboo groves and attractive gifts (pottery, cocoon dolls, handmade bamboo products) there.
Highlights in Kitayama area and Tea Ceremony Experience
Kyoto has many temples, shrines, artefacts, unique cultures, traditional architecture and beautiful gardens because it was the ancient capital of Japan. Kyoto city has two different areas called Kitayama area and Higashiyama area which were divided according to its period and culture. Today we will visit Kitayama area, which flourished in the 14th century. This tour will show you three temples which are all UNESCO World Heritage Sites and a tea ceremony experience.
The Unique Architecture and Culture in Higashiyama
Higashiyama is located in the east of Kyoto city. Kiyomizu Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hill roads, which were front approaches to the temple, a pagoda in Yasaka, the magnificent view from those hill roads are popular tourist spots in Kyoto. They have flourished as a part of the temple area since ancient times. Lovely monkey balls in the temple, the historical Yasaka Shrine, and Gion area which has unique traditional culture in Japan, enhance the attraction of Higashiyama.

One Day Tour with the Magnificent View in Saga Arashiyama
“Wonderful Experience”
I'm so happy we booked the tour for Saga Arashiyama with Atsuko. She was really nice and well prepared. She gave us a list of where we were going to go. We went to a section of the bamboo grove that was not over crowded with tourist. She took us to Toriimoto area and Adashino Nenbutsu Temple, as well as other places. It was very beautiful and scenic. Atsuko was very informative, answered all our questions. We went to a restaurant that had different options for our dietary needs. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The pace was just perfect. We took breaks along the way and just enjoyed the views. If I ever get the chance to go back, I will be booking again with her. Definitely recommend Atsuko for your guided tour needs. Thank you, Atsuko.

“Osaka - A great place to visit”
We wished the Cherry Blossom were blooming in full force but we had a great time with our Osaka visit. Atsuko was awesome and so caring for the 4 of us. She met us at the cruise port and was so detailed is our tour to ensure that we visited all the must see places. She planned the public transports with ready-to-go Suica cards for all of us. Osaka has a tremendous amount of history that she highlighted throughout the tour. Thank you Atsuko for your professionalism and care for us.
