One Day Tour with the Magnificent View in Saga Arashiyama
Saga Arashiyama is located in the northwest of Kyoto city, which was an ancient capital of Japan. It is famous for its scenic beauty. There are many picturesque places such as bamboo groves, mountain ranges, bridges, rivers, historical temples and shrines , scenic trains, and a 'Kimono Forest'. On this tour we will walk down the mountainside, visit some peaceful temples, see the beautiful bamboo groves and attractive gifts (pottery, cocoon dolls, handmade bamboo products) there.

Kyoto city has two different areas called Kitayama area and Higashiyama area which were divided according to its period and culture. Today we will visit Kitayama area, which flourished in the 14th century. This tour will show you three temples which are all UNESCO World Heritage Sites and a tea ceremony experience.

The Unique Architecture and Culture in Higashiyama
Higashiyama is located in the east of Kyoto city. Kiyomizu Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hill roads, which were front approaches to the temple, a pagoda in Yasaka, the magnificent view from those hill roads are popular tourist spots in Kyoto. They have flourished as a part of the temple area since ancient times. Lovely monkey balls in the temple, the historical Yasaka Shrine, and Gion area which has unique traditional culture in Japan, enhance the attraction of Higashiyama.

“Wonderful day exploring Osaka!”
Atsuko was lovely to deal with from the start and I had to change the itinerary quite last minute and she was super accomodating and understanding. We had a tailored itinerary and she was very flexible in how much time we spent in each location. She managed to book a special restaurant for our lunch which we thoroughly enjoyed. We covered all the areas in our itinerary and she gave helpful tips for other things to do in Osaka including which cruises were available. Thank you Atsuko and looking forward to catching up soon!

“Visiting Nara Park”
It was a pleasure to have Atsuko as our guide! She made everything so easy for us as we were traveling with three old twins. She tailored our itinerary to accommodate our needs and took us to all the key areas and also found a restaurant that accommodated all 6 of us in our party for lunch.
