About Tour Guide Mai N.
Hi,
I have taken over 100 tourists on in-depth local explorations of Tokyo. My specialties are gourmet food and seasonal events. Temples and shrines are great, but why don't you come and enjoy the scenery and cuisine that Japanese people are crazy about these days?
Besides being a guide,I also study architecture as a hobby over the past several years.
That’s why I registered on this platform to create an original tour featuring architecture and latest trends for local.
Historical Japanese structures such as World Heritage is amazing, but
Japan has many wonderful contemporary structures like shrines and museums, which is designed by various architects.I hope to show them with my tour.
I was born in Hokkaido and it's been about 10 years since I moved to Tokyo area.
I have always had a strong admiration for Tokyo, and have been exploring various attractive spots around the city.
That's why I'll not only guide you to the main tourist spots ,but also arrange unique experience according to your preference :)

Traveling gives me a chance to get to know how other people live, their culture, and discovering new places . This is why I work as a guide, my goal is to give guests a real "local experience"--like what I've experienced on my travels so far.
Don't worry if you are not good at English.

“Excellent guide around Tokyo and accommodating ”
Mai was very knowledgeable and helped us on our first full day in Japan. After a 14 hour flight and 12 hour difference we wanted the help of a local to direct us around. Her recommendations were excellent and would highly recommend booking with her, including the komodo rental and photo shoot suggestions. Even after we accidentally left an item at the rental shop she was quick to help us get the item back. Navigating the train stations can be a challenge, especially with jet lag, but again having Mai as our guide proved wonderful. Thank you again for a wonderful walk around this fascinating city. Best!

“Birthday celebration tour at Tokyo Team Lab Planets”
I came to Japan from Lausanne, Switzerland solo to celebrate my birthday. Two weeks ago, I have decided to visited Tokyo Team Lab Planets, so I contacted Mai. Mai, promptly answered my email, and was very helpful and willing to take me to Team Lab Planets. Mai, was very professional, and she arrived on time cautiously asked me everything I want during my Team Lab visit. Mai, was very friendly, and she took various beautiful pictures of me! After, we finished our tour she wanted to take me to Shibuya to get Hachiko souvenirs items. Mai, is a wonderful person, and I am so grateful and blessed to have spent my birthday with her. “Shinjuku n Shibuya tour”
Mai San our guide was very nice and accommodating. She took us to where we wanted to go and to places where she thought we would enjoy. We were able to experience riding the subway. Our lunch and afternoon snacks were very good too.

Mein erstes Mal in Deutschland war 2012, als ich Studentin war, und damals habe ich einen Monat in München einen Deutschkurs gemacht. Da habe ich viel erlebt und erfahrt und war total begeistert für die deutsche Kultur, Sitten, einfach alles, natürlich Leute auch :) Nach dem Studium bin ich nach Deutschland (München und Augsburg) geflogen, um richtig Deutsch zu lernen. In den Schulzeiten habe ich viele Erfahrungen in der Gastronomie gesammelt. In Deutschland habe ich als Kellnerin in einem japanischen Restaurant und Japanischlehrerin gearbeitet. Aktuell bin ich auch private Japanischlehrerin (ich habe auch einen Vertrag mit der amerikanischen Marine) und gelegentlich Reiseführerin. I worked as a high school English teacher here for more than 40 years. I love Kanagawa so much. We have many interesting tourist spots, like Hakone, Kamakura, Enoshima and Yokohama.
