My upbringing kept me rooted in my culture, values & traditions. Both of my parents were history teachers so growing up with them had an amazing impact on my life. My childhood memories are full of history lessons, stories of persons & places. It absolutely moulded me into the person I am today - one whose characteristics include a love for history & an obsession for travelling. You may be surprised just how much my parent's profession impacted my upbringing because I got a double dose of history from my teachers & parents. Later I moved to New Delhi, India & have been a resident in New Delhi for the past 20 years. As a passionate reader, traveller & explorer of new sites, I have travelled a lot in Northern India. With a great interest in history, culture, tradition, people & places; I focused my learning towards the same. Hence I pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Management. Later acquired higher training of "Tourism & History" from MKITM, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. I have also been trained as a Professional Tour Guide from the "Indian Institute of Tourism & Management (Govt. of India)" & obtained my License from the Ministry of Tourism ( Government Of India) for Northern India Region. Now I have 15 years of experience in Guiding, I have welcomed "Thousands" of International Tourists as my Valued Guests to my Incredible Country. Having spent a great amount of time in the traditional culture of my country, and the way my guests have enjoyed the Facts of India rooted with her history, I am always mesmerized to recall that I am a part of connecting people across countries to "My India".
