Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is a sanctuary for an amazing diversity of flora and fauna. Its mangrove forests, inter-tidal mudflats, riverine habitats and marshlands host unique wildlife such as the mudskipper, tree-climbing crab, Saltwater Crocodile, and the Smooth Otter. It is an important site for migratory birds visiting from Siberia and northern Asia. The extensive visitor amenities, level paths and elevated boardwalks here allow easy access for visitors of all ages and physical abilities.

Meeting Point
At the service counter inside the Wetland Centre of Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve.
- Please note: Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve has 2 separate entrances - one at its Wetland Centre at Neo Tiew Crescent road, the other at its Visitor Centre at Kranji Way road.
Starting the tour
After short briefing, we will start the tour around 9:10-9.15am.
--TOUR ITINERARY --
We go onto the elevated boardwalk which brings us to the river bridge for a scenic view of the riverine habitat. Here we look out for wetland wildlife such as Saltwater Crocodiles, monitor lizards, herons and sea eagles. We then go onto the mangrove forest boardwalk for close encounters with mudskippers and tree-climbing crabs. A diversity of unique mangrove flora is found here, with strange air-breathing roots. We get scenic views of the sea and Malaysia in the near distance. We get back to the Wetland Centre and head for the Coastal Trail for elevated views of the surrounding coastline. We then backtrack to the Wetland Centre to end our tour there. This tour is highly suitable for family groups, and participants of all ages and physical abilities.

-SGD$2.00 bills for vending machines
-MRT train and bus card, or SGD$2.00 bills and coins to pay for public transport
-Drinks and snacks to be self-provided by the tour guest
-Please wear full-length long pants (but not thick jeans), socks and sneakers. With tee-shirt or long-sleeved shirt is fine. A hat is advisable.
Short pants and skirts at your own risk of getting mosquito bites.
-Useful items to bring: umbrella or raincoat, herbal mosquito repellent, small water bottle, snack (apple, biscuits), binoculars, camera.
-Do bring along your own medications/inhaler/anti-histamines, if required.
-Carry all your belongings in a small backpack so as to be hands-free. Do not carry a plastic bag as this may attract monkeys who may be present in the location.
-There are no food shops in this location. But there are drinks and snacks vending machines, and a water fountain to refill your water bottle.
