Pretoria the Beautiful Capital
The day trip to Pretoria starts with a pick up from your hotel then we take you to the Voortrekker Monument where you get a glimpse on the first settlers and how they lived and travelled the land to build South Africa. We then go onto the beautiful Union Building one of the famous Herbert Baker designs. The Union Buildings is a modern day Acropolis and the seat of the government and houses the President. Pretoria Boys High is our famous school also a Herbert Baker building and our last stop

Voortrekker Monument
This amazing Monument commemorates the Voortrekkers who left the Cape Colony between 1835 and 1854. It was designed by the architect Gerard Moerdijk. This is a cultural Heritage of the Afrikaans people. You will learn a lot more of the Boer war and the Groot Trek
Union Buildings
This Herbert Baker monument is like an ancient temple adorning over the city it governs. This is the official seat of the Goverment and houses the Presidency. This modern day acropolis is built of the highest point of South Africa’s Capital Pretoria

Pretoria is the capital of the country and known as the most beautiful city in South Africa. In August the Jacaranda tress bloom and the whole city changes to a beautiful violet colour. There are many museums celebrating the Afrikaner. It’s is home of the best rugby team in South African The Blue Bulls and the people support there team like a religion. Rugby is one of South Africas biggest sports and we rate world champions. The tour is reasonably long approximately 8 hours
