Amphitheater and Tugela Falls Tour @Drakensberg
A special hiking tour of the Drakensberg. We will leave from Gauteng and travel 300 kilometers to a hotel Witsieshoek in the mountains of Kwa Zulu Natal. The next day we leave early with the shuttle to Sentiniel car Park. From the car park we start our hike up the mountain taking the gorge route on the way up. Once we summit at 3200 meters we take in the beautiful view of Sentiniel. It’s then off to the Tugela falls the highest in the world. From here we make our way bag using the chain ladders

Day 1 : Witsieshoek Hotel
We travel from Gauteng approximately 300kilometers to our hotel high up in the mountains of the Drakensburg in Kwa Zul Natal. This hotel is run by the locals and an experience on its own. Our payment includes breakfast but any other meals or drinks is for your own costs
Day 2 : Witsieshoek Hotel
Early up and have a quick breakfast before we catch our shuttle to the Sentiniel Car Park.
Day 2 : Sentiniel Car Park
Leave for the hike up the mountain to 3165m. We check all your gear before we leave. See gear requirements. You will be accompanied by an experienced guide all the time
Day 2 : Summit
We take the gorge route and should get to the top in 3 hours. We take it slowly and enjoy the beauty of the mountains . Once on top we stop for a snack and chill out after our climb up the Gorge. You will have lots of time to take photos. The view from the buttress is amazing
Day 2 :Tugela Falls
This an amazing experience to witness the start of the highest waterfall in the world
Day 2 :Chain Ladder decent
Not for the faint hearted but an experience you will diffidently talk about for many years to come.
Day 2 :Sentiniel Car Park
We get our shuttle back to the hotel for a deserved rest
Day 2 :Dinner at The Hotel
We say goodbye to the locals and have an evening chatting about our great experiences
Day 3 : Breakfast
Leave back to Gauteng

Because you will be hiking over 300 meters you require special equipment as the weather in the mountains is very unpredictable. Good hiking or trail running shoes, waterproof ultra light jacket, thermal wear just in case. We will give you a full list once you have decided to join us for this adventure of a life time.
